Moments later, Stella and Linda were standing before an open stretch of sparse grassland.
The area was secluded and peaceful, with no buildings nearby and little light to interfere with the moon's glow.
The moon seemed closer to the earth here, shining brighter than it had from the balcony, its pale light spilling across the quiet field and bathing everything in a soft, silvery glow.
Linda glanced at Stella, then slowly looked around the empty surroundings.
Although the area appeared peaceful, there was something about being completely alone in such an isolated place that made her uneasy.
"We are here all alone. Will you be okay by yourself?" she asked.
Stella glanced around the grassland and nodded reassuringly. "It's okay. As long as you don't go too far, I will be fine."
She then glanced behind her toward the direction they had come from. "Adrian might even meet us if he finishes early."
