Chapter one.
Get to the palace
The car was making its way through the woods, and it didn't stop for a moment. Lara kept watching the trees tending to wind, wondering if she was going home or into exile. And the guy sitting next to her, he's been silent since she left the orphanage, just taking a quick look at her every now and then, like making sure of something.
When the car finally stopped, she opened her eyes. In front of her is a huge palace, gray walls, surrounded by high walls, and windows like she's watching the inside. The air was cold enough to make her shake, but she held on. The man opened the door and said with a strange cold.
From today, this is your home. >
She planned inside the gate, her little steps rolling over the marble, and curiosity eats her silently. The servants lined up with a slight bend, their eyes daring not to look at the master. I felt they were scared. Not just him, but something that lives in the place.
There was a young woman who greeted her with an artificial smile, whispering to her: "I'm Mira, your maid. Mr. Raven doesn't like to bother you. Never go in the basement."
Lara froze, then looked at the man-- Raven. He was standing by the big stairs, slowly taking off his coat, drops of rain slipping from his dark hair on his cheeks. They took a moment, just one look. But it was enough to plant in her heart a fear that she didn't understand, and curiosity that she couldn't thank him.
At that moment, you didn't know this palace would change her forever. And the guy we adopted... It won't be a "saving" day, it will be her fate. It follows but chapter (2)
