Chapter 284 - Chapter 247 – Obliteration

As Riveria worried for Ais, Takumi's figure entered her sight.

Staring at the rampaging black winged dragon, Takumi's gaze shifted from earlier scrutiny to pure boredom.

A monster birthed by the Dungeon—its strength was obviously no joke.

But Takumi didn't look at it like a threat. He looked at it like prey—and judged only its value.

"…Near-immortal regeneration? I already have that. Flame shots that pierce floors? I can do that too. Power that can slay gods? I already have it."

His voice dropped colder.

"To me, your value isn't even as high as that two-headed dragon."

His eyes sharpened, and he called out toward the sky where Ais was still locked in combat.

"Ais. Fall back."

Just four words—yet they instantly snapped Ais out of her berserk state.

She turned to him. The hate in her eyes drained away, replaced by that blank, almost dazed clarity she had when she listened to her master.

Between the enemy in front of her and Takumi's order, she chose the order.

Because she could feel it—Takumi was about to move.

And she also knew the truth: what she was doing up there was a stalemate.

If she wanted to truly kill it, she'd need time.

But Orario didn't have time.

If this dragged on, the city—barely rebuilding—would be reduced to rubble again.

In the next instant, the blood-soaked Ais dropped like a meteor, streaking down from the sky.

The dragon saw its target retreat and split its grotesque maw wide, flames burning in its throat.

"ROOOAARR!!!"

It lunged to pursue, ready to bite down and crush—only for Takumi to appear in its path.

"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."

He transformed the closed domain into a wide-area extension.

Even without using full power, the domain spread out in a heartbeat, swallowing a radius of nearly ten kilometers.

And under Takumi's precise control, the people inside weren't harmed.

Only the dragon was.

An endless flood of meaningless information slammed into its mind.

Even a creature driven by instinct still had to process external input to react.

Its brain crashed.

Its entire body locked up midair—then it began to drop.

At the same time, Takumi felt the magic he'd stored within his body and smiled.

"Perfect timing. I'll test the trait I got from Meteria."

"Store pre-cast spells inside the body, then release them instantly when needed."

"Techniques are magic too."

"Purple."

No charge-up. No wind-up. He didn't even lift his hand.

A space-shearing purple wave detonated into existence.

HUM—!!

The beam punched through the stiffened black winged dragon like an eraser wiping ink off paper.

In a blink—the divine beast that could have destroyed Orario was simply… gone.

And that was only the beginning.

"Now—add a black hole's pull to Purple."

"Final Form: Obliteration!!"

Centered on that space-cleaving purple wave, a terrifying gravitational suction exploded outward.

All of Orario shuddered—as if the entire city might get ripped into the sky.

Takumi didn't allow that.

He raised a hand and pressed down.

Vast telekinesis poured out, pinning every inch of ground into place.

Then the suction's effect shifted—no longer pulling the city but pulling monsters.

Zzz—Zzz—Zzz!

Every creature dragged into that purple wave was erased on contact, turning to ash with a faint, sizzling hum.

The monster tide that could've overturned Orario ended in a dozen breaths.

Everyone stared at the purple-black brilliance hanging in the sky.

Even the gods felt the weight of that move.

"If that power were a thousand times stronger…" Loki muttered, her usual squint blown wide open, "it might actually threaten a weak god."

For Loki's shock, Freya was straight-up ascending.

"No… I have to have him."

And it wasn't only her. Other goddesses—whether from lust or worship—found their thoughts aligning into the same dangerous desire.

And under all that unified attention, Takumi's Cross-World Gate progress began to skyrocket.

It blasted past 7000% almost instantly and kept climbing.

Takumi grinned and checked his panel.

[Ding! Randomly seized trait: Hyper-Speed Regeneration (Purple)…]

"The dragon's regen… what garbage."

His own near-true immortality eclipsed it so completely that even if he merged it, it would be swallowed by his higher-tier evolution.

But still—having it is better than not.

He fused it anyway.

A tiny, almost laughable increase in vitality surged through him.

He raised an eyebrow.

"So it's not totally useless."

He skimmed the rest of the traits, kept the ones without side effects, and took them all.

Then he flicked his hand.

Cell spores spread out—everything he'd killed, every monster erased in that wave, had already been eaten clean.

A flood of life force poured back into him.

As for the gene data—he barely looked before discarding most of it.

Too low-level. He didn't need it anymore.

His aura climbed again, and his divine core pulsed.

The power that used to feel wild and difficult to restrain settled instantly, obedient as a kitten.

Only then did Takumi descend from the sky, floating down in front of Ais.

Seeing Takumi kill the dragon, Ais lunged into him.

She hated monsters. She hated dragons. She hated the Black Dragon most of all.

This kill bled off a portion of that hatred. But more than that—since she was a child, she'd dreamed of the hero from stories… the one who could protect her.

And now, standing alive in front of her—Takumi was the physical embodiment of that hero.
