Chapter 13 - Chapter 12 : Enslaving Uchiha Fugaku ( Re Write)

"Clan Head, Uchiha Arata requests an urgent audience. The matter is critical. I beg your pardon."

Arata's performance had begun.

Although his voice was soft, Arata was confident that Fugaku Uchiha—a veteran elite jōnin whose perception had been refined through years of ANBU experience—would easily sense his presence and respond accordingly.

After only a brief pause, Fugaku's voice came from within.

"Come in."

Receiving permission, Arata did not hesitate. He stepped calmly into the tea room where the clan head usually received guests.

Inside, Fugaku was already seated properly in a kimono, clearly having anticipated Arata's arrival.

Despite being peers with Shisui in talent, Arata knew that although he might not yet match Fugaku's overall strength, he himself was still among the top-tier combatants of the Uchiha clan.

Arata had just taken his seat when a woman in a kimono entered gracefully, carrying a tea tray.

Elegant and composed, she set down the tea and snacks, offered Arata a polite nod, and quietly withdrew.

"Thank you," Arata said softly.

Once the clan head's wife, Mikoto Uchiha, had left the room, Arata began his plan.

He intended to repeat his usual tactic.

A plan did not need to be original—it only needed to work.

"Clan Head," Arata said, "I came tonight to report something important. During the day, there are too many eyes and ears, so I had no choice but to come at night."

Fugaku nodded in understanding.

"Speak directly. As your clan head, it is my responsibility."

Arata went straight to the point.

"I've noticed some irregularities in my Sharingan," he said calmly.

"As you know, my parents passed away years ago. With no one else to consult, I had no choice but to trouble you."

Fugaku took a sip of tea and waved his hand.

"Nonsense, Arata. As the head of the Uchiha—and knowing you are one of our elite—it is my duty to resolve your problems."

"Open your Sharingan. Let me examine it."

Arata complied immediately, revealing his Mangekyō Sharingan.

Fugaku was aware of the Mangekyō's existence, but he had not expected Arata to awaken it at such a young age.

When the unique pattern of Arata's eye appeared, Fugaku was completely unprepared.

Shock froze him in place.

Seizing the moment, Arata acted without hesitation.

While Fugaku was still caught off guard, Arata activated his Mangekyō and unleashed Kotoamatsukami.

Even as a Mangekyō wielder himself, Fugaku sensed the intrusion instantly.

He activated his own Mangekyō, attempting to resist the mind-altering dōjutsu.

But Kotoamatsukami, hailed as the strongest genjutsu, was no ordinary technique.

By the time Fugaku's eyes fully activated, the dōjutsu had already infiltrated his mind, rewriting his deepest thoughts and reshaping his will.

From that moment on, Arata's commands became Fugaku's absolute directives.

Feeling the jutsu take hold, Arata exhaled slowly, finally allowing his tension to ease.

Though it appeared effortless, the reality was far more dangerous.

Fugaku had never imagined that Arata possessed Kotoamatsukami.

Had he known, a Mangekyō wielder with far greater experience and still in the prime of his strength would have been vastly more difficult to subdue.

The only reason Arata succeeded was the element of surprise.

At that moment, Mikoto Uchiha entered the room—perhaps sensing a disturbance, or perhaps simply following instinct.

"Husband," she asked softly, "what just happened? I thought I felt a chakra fluctuation. Are you alright?"

By the time she spoke, Fugaku was already completely controlled.

He calmly closed his Mangekyō, lifted his teacup, and spoke evenly.

"Mikoto, it's nothing. I was merely examining Arata's Sharingan."

"You should go rest. I have matters to discuss with him."

Mikoto could never have imagined that, in just a few moments, her husband's will had been entirely enslaved.

"Very well," she said with a polite bow.

"Please excuse me, Arata-kun."

She turned and left.

Only then did Arata truly relax, wiping nonexistent sweat from his brow.

That had been a dangerous gamble.

One misstep—and he would have been forced to flee.

But as with all risks, the greater the danger, the greater the reward.

Now, with Fugaku under his control and the Grand Elder's support secured, Arata effectively held the Uchiha clan in his grasp.

He turned his gaze toward Fugaku, who still sat upright, composed and calm.

"You understand what has happened, correct?"

Fugaku nodded.

"You have enslaved me," he said evenly.

"You have reshaped my thoughts. I am now completely loyal to you."

"My life and death rest entirely in your hands. Should you command me to do anything—even to take my own life—I would obey without hesitation or resentment."

"The technique you used," Fugaku continued,

"must be a Mangekyō dōjutsu. I never imagined such power was possible."

"I had no chance to resist."

"I believed your Sharingan specialized in copying," he admitted,

"yet your awakened Mangekyō proves to be top-tier genjutsu."

"Even the countermeasures I had prepared were rendered meaningless."

He shook his head slightly, acknowledging the loss of all remaining options.

A chill ran down Arata's spine.

He had underestimated Fugaku's hidden preparations—yet now, even those no longer mattered.

Reading Arata's expression, Fugaku smiled faintly.

"Be at ease," he said.

"Your dōjutsu has bound my loyalty completely. I will never act against you."

"My remaining contingencies," he concluded calmly,

"are now nullified."
