"Kill George!"

"Kill George!"

George was too arrogant, and the players were even more angry.

"Andrew!" A 21-level mage player named Andrew said, "George, we can't touch you inside the city, but outside, you shouldn't be so arrogant. Kneel down and apologize, and I'll pretend nothing happened."

He showed flames in his palms and continued, "Don't think I'm lying. When I was level 10 and 20, I kept getting fire skills. After stacking, you..." Andrew's palms burned with fire, "You, are you sure you want to die?"

"Enough talk. I'll start with you!" George swung his Frost Moon Blade and charged at Andrew.

"You dare look down on me!" Burn roared and used his 20-level assassin skill Shadow. He came out from George's shadow, two daggers shining, aiming for George's neck.

George sped up, knocked Burn away, and the two daggers pierced his chest.

Burn fell to the ground hard. He watched George, who was losing health but moving faster and faster, and was shocked. He muttered, "He's crazy, he's crazy!"

"Attack together!" Another player shouted, "Give Andrew time to use his combined skill!"

"Shut up! You just exposed my secret!" Andrew cursed, but he still used both hands to cast fire-based spells and started the combined skill.

"Daze!" A priest was lifted into the air by a ranger and waved his staff.

George's head buzzed, and he felt dizzy.

"Kill him!" Warriors, rangers, assassins, mages, and others all rushed toward George.

"George is mine!" Burn shouted, seeing victory in sight. He could almost see George's gear dropping and his level falling, and then he would be the best in the server!

This time, seven players surrounded George. Shadows were thick, and Burn's skill activated faster. He jumped out of the shadow, grabbed his two daggers, pulled them out, and slashed toward George's neck.

Blood sprayed!

The assassin's feeling was clearer now. "I killed George!" Burn shouted with excitement.

But right after that, Burn was terrified to find that George wasn't just dying from the blood loss. Instead... George smiled at him!

George was bleeding from his chest and neck, but behind him, a giant shadow appeared, covering him completely and pushing Burn away.

"Everyone, time to reap!" George swung his Frost Moon Blade, ignored Burn, and charged at the seven players.

Frost Moon Blade swung again and again, Frost Blossom flew everywhere, completely covering the fight between George and the seven players.

No one even heard the sound of the battle!

The crowd was still in shock when George burst out of the Frost Blossom. He swung his Frost Moon Blade, creating a Moon Shadow. As the Moon Shadow hit the ground, Frost Blossom covered the priest and rangers!

The rangers, known for their speed, had just started to run when they were covered in Frost Blossom. Their movements slowed down and stopped completely!

George kept running without slowing down. He instantly killed the unmoving rangers and ran toward the priest.

The priest hadn't even had time to cast a spell. He was also covered in Frost Blossom and died on the spot!

George's speed increased. He rushed straight for Andrew.

Andrew's 10-level and 20-level skills were finally fused. When he saw George coming right at him, he shouted in shock and anger:

"George, die!"

The two skills merged into fire. The flames fell down, instantly melting all the Frost Blossom. Even George's Guardian Spirit was destroyed and disappeared!

But George didn't care about his wounds. He focused on swinging his Frost Moon Blade. He used Frostbite on Andrew, and the blade kept falling again and again.

In the next moment, Guardian Spirit completely vanished. A huge fire engulfed George and Andrew.

On the dock, light flashed. Fire roared.

The flashing light was the nine 20-level players George had killed. Their bodies slowly turned to nothing, and their potions and materials fell to the ground.

The roaring fire was still burning—George and Andrew were both on fire.

No one knew what was happening inside the fire, and no one dared to approach to pick up the materials and potions.

George... one man, one blade. He killed nine players!

They were all different classes, perfectly coordinated.

Finally, the fire died down. Andrew was gone. All that remained was George, completely burned and shaking.

Many players were eager to act.

But when George looked at them coldly, the ones who wanted to attack quickly looked down.

George didn't pay attention to them. He started picking up the items from the dead players and drank 15 low-level healing potions.

After collecting everything and drinking all 15 potions, George finally recovered completely. He looked around and saw Burn, who was still trembling.

"George, it wasn't me..."

George smiled and cut Burn down with one slash.

He picked up the items that dropped from Burn, then held his Frost Moon Blade and walked back to Ceylon City.

Every player was shocked, staring at George's back.

Only when he was completely inside Ceylon City did George finally relax.

Including Burn, that was a total of 11 players, all level 20.

They had different classes and could work together perfectly.

If they had worked together and kept their distance, he would have died for sure.

That was why he rushed forward without hesitation and ignored Burn's attack.

And it turned out he was right!

Burn's attack actually gave him time.

The 20-level priest's Daze skill had a 3-second effect.

If the seven players had all attacked at once, George's health would have been gone in 3 seconds.

Burn killed him, and that made the seven players hesitate. They wanted to check his condition before acting.

That one step was what made George win the battle.

Of course, if Burn hadn't rushed to attack, George would have used his skill Guardian Spirit the moment he was Dazed.

In that case, after the Daze ended, he would only have been able to run away.

When running away, only rangers and assassins could catch him. If they couldn't control him, they weren't his match.

No matter what, George could make sure he escaped safely.

The result? It was the best possible one!

George laughed.

From now on, the players in Ceylon City would know who the real boss was.

But George also found out some bad news.

That was, the passive skill Frostbite also used mana!

The skill description didn't say anything about it at all...

Now his HP was full, but his mana was completely gone...

With only a few hundred mana left and such a slow recovery rate, he could only use Guardian Spirit once per fight. That was really annoying!

What he was missing now was long-range attacks and speed skills. He needed them badly.

Hope this mission could give him one.

George was walking and thinking about it when he heard hurried footsteps coming.

He turned around and saw Dorothy running toward him.

"What's up?" George stopped and asked.

"D-Did you lose something?" Dorothy said, and handed George a black bag.

"How did you know?" George didn't open the bag, but looked at Dorothy in surprise.

Dwarves' gate required a group and a treasure to open!

"You said you wanted a bet before the fight, and you fought so many people, you must be short on money. I have this for you," Dorothy said, lowering her head and blushing.

"Don't need..."

"I want to team up with you!" Dorothy quickly said. "You and me, I'll hire you with this."

"Hire me?" George laughed and shook his head. I have the system, I beat 11 players alone, you hire me?

George smiled and opened the bag. In the middle of the day, on the icy snow-covered street, suddenly stars shone!

He quickly pulled the bag closed and said in shock: "Star Crystal? Where did you get it?"

The game had five elements gems—earth, wood, water, fire, and metal. They could be used to equip weapons, but they only dropped from bosses above level 50. No one in the whole server had gotten one yet.

When five elements gems were successfully equipped, they became magical weapons with spell effects.

Above five elements gems were Star Crystal, Holy Crystal, and others. When they were equipped, they became legendary weapons.

How could Dorothy, who was only level 20 and had killed a snake, have a legendary gem?

"I-I got it from the alchemist's beginner gift," Dorothy said quietly. "I thought everyone had one, but later I found out only I had it. So... can this gem hire you?"
