Vegeta began to try shouting at the Goku beneath him. "Hey! Kakarot! You weakling! Snap out of it! Do you hear me! Stop playing dead!"

The Great Ape that was Goku suddenly closed its eyes! Its huge body stopped all struggles.
Intermittent, but increasingly clear sounds came from its throat. "Grandpa... Kri... Krillin... Master... Roshi... delicious... food... it's... Whitley's voice..."
His sanity had finally, completely returned under Whitley's precisely targeted verbal assault!
A few seconds later, the huge eyes slowly opened.
Although they were still scarlet, there was no longer any tyranny or madness in them, replaced by the familiar clarity and a hint of confusion from just having regained his senses.
He looked at the devastated grasslands around him, then felt the Great Ape that was Vegeta pinning him down.
After a long while, he finally spoke in a guttural voice, with a tone of confusion and a little disgust, "Huh? This ki... is it Vegeta? Vegeta... why did you get so ugly?"
Vegeta: "???"
Whitley: "Pfft—"
Goku's first words upon regaining his sanity were a precise taunt at Vegeta!
