Chapter 506 - NSDD: Chapter 506

If he wanted to... He could probably kill both of us here at any moment...

"Silence, huh? Seems you don't have the confidence to argue..."

"Very well then... I'll take that as your agreement..."

Seeing Naruto and Sasuke wisely keep their silence, Kaoru nodded in satisfaction. He had no need to quibble with them.

He stepped lightly into the void. The Rinne Sharingan on his forehead flashed with a blood-red, eerie brilliance, and his immense, boundless ocular power instantly connected with the very essence of the world itself.

SWISH...

Naruto and Sasuke's vision blurred. The shattered land of the Primal Dimension vanished, replaced by a landscape of fine gravel beaches.

Surrounded on all sides by the chaotic remains of battlefields, the entire world had instantly shifted—Kaoru had transported them back to the real shinobi world.

"We're finally back in the shinobi world..."

Both let out sincere sighs of relief. Although they had only been forcibly dragged into other dimensions for less than half a day, the cataclysmic battles they had witnessed between Kaoru and Kaguya made every second feel like an eternity.

"Now that Kaguya is sealed and we have returned to the real world, the last thing remaining to be done is..."

Back in the real world, Kaoru gazed calmly upward at the blood-red, eerie full moon high in the sky.

He saw within it the pattern of tomoe, almost identical to the Rinne Sharingan on his own forehead. His tone was deep and distant.

"It is time to undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi..."

The method to undo it was quite simple: either a person with the Rinnegan and another possessing the chakra of all Tailed Beasts must act together, or a single person possessing both powers at once.

They simply needed to form the Sign of the Rat, and the Infinite Tsukuyomi and the God: Nativity of a World of Trees would be dispelled.

"Then..."

Kaoru closed his eyes gently, slowly raised his hands before his chest, and calmly formed the Sign of the Rat.

He then opened his eyes, and the Rinne Sharingan on his forehead aligned directly with the giant, glowing eye in the sky above.

As soon as Kaoru formed the hand seal, a profound, mysterious power activated from the depths of existence.

The massive, blood-red moon shining over the entire world suddenly flickered with dazzling lightning.

The Infinite Tsukuyomi cast by Madara Uchiha onto the moon was instantly dispelled by Kaoru.

Across every corner of the shinobi world, the vast, spreading branches of the Divine Tree withered and broke apart.

The vines wrapped around every person loosened immediately, and everyone awoke from the eternal dream, freed from the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

"Just now... what happened to all of us? Were we trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi...?"

Tsunade, having just awakened, looked at her hands with a sense of disorientation, then immediately scanned her surroundings, searching for Kaoru's figure.

"Where is Kaoru...? How is he now?!"

Meanwhile, on battlefields far away, Wan'er, Hinata, and Kurotsuchi also suddenly woke up from the illusion.

Their eyes, filled with tension and slight confusion, looked toward the vast ocean in the distance.

Wan'er's cheeks were flushed, yet a faint smile touched her lips. "I'm not sure what happened... but that illusion just now... was truly quite a beautiful world..."

...

At the same time, deep within a dark, shadowy cave, Kabuto Yakushi, shrouded entirely in a black cloak, seemed to jolt awake from the Infinite Tsukuyomi as well.

His narrow, serpentine eyes reflected the endless dream he had just experienced—a dream where he had faithfully followed Orochimaru's path, witnessing Lord Orochimaru climb step-by-step to the pinnacle of the shinobi world. As his assistant, Kabuto had felt immense pride and honor...

"That just now... was the Infinite Tsukuyomi cast by Madara Uchiha...?"

"It truly was a beautiful world... But the fact that I am awake now means the jutsu has been undone... Madara Uchiha has failed..."

A sinister smile slowly spread across his face. Kabuto re-established his connection with every shinobi revived via Edo Tensei.

His slitted pupils were vague and unfocused. "I never thought Madara Uchiha would fail... However, my army of the dead still remains. The outcome of this final shinobi war... is still far from certain..."

Back on the main battlefield, the vast army of Edo Tensei zombies—temporarily out of control while Kabuto was trapped in the illusion—was once again under his command.

They immediately resumed their battle against the Allied Shinobi Forces, who had now also been freed from the genjutsu.

Clack, clack, clack...

Stepping over countless pieces of rubble on the ground, Kaoru approached the separated half of Madara Uchiha's body—the part Kaguya had used to revive herself.

He held in his hand the Sage Staff — Nunoboko. His white, mystical sage robes were patterned with countless black tomoe, and the nine dark Truth-Seeking Orbs floated silently around him.

Watching Kaoru's actions behind him, Naruto and Sasuke exchanged glances. After a moment of hesitation, they followed him forward.

He walked leisurely up to Madara's remains. Looking down at Madara's body—now just a corpse since being separated from the Ten-Tails—Kaoru recalled the plot from the original story. A sharp, unfathomable light flickered in his scarlet eyes as he slowly crouched down.

Gently, he placed his palm flat against Madara's body. Behind him, Naruto and Sasuke widened their eyes in shock as an incredible scene unfolded right before them.

The moment Kaoru's hand touched Madara's corpse, a white figure rose up like thin smoke, floating into the void before them.

"H-He... isn't he...?"

Seeing the figure floating in the air, Naruto, standing behind Kaoru, was so shocked he nearly bit his own tongue.

"T-T-The... S-Sage... of... S-Six... P-Paths..."

Kaoru narrowed his scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan eyes. His profound gaze locked firmly onto the figure that had suddenly materialized before them.

He spoke the name in a deep, heavy tone—or rather, the revered title by which he was known to the world.

He wore white, mystical sage robes almost identical to Kaoru's. He had short white hair and an aged face—covered in wrinkles, yet with skin so tight and smooth it didn't match his apparent age.

Two horns protruded from his forehead, and a strange red mark—shaped like an eye or a tattoo—sat between his brows.

A pair of purple, rippled Rinnegan were set in his eye sockets. Floating silently behind him in the void was a Sage Staff, formed from a reshaped Truth-Seeking Orb.

It was unmistakable—the Sage of Six Paths, stepped straight out from the pages of myth and legend into reality.

"I can sense... that my mother, Kaguya... has been sealed away once more..."

An ethereal, hollow voice echoed as the Sage floated silently into the air. His purple Rinnegan gazed calmly at Kaoru with a depth no one could ever hope to fathom.

"It seems... in the end, it was you who claimed victory in the battle against my mother..."

"Kaoru Uchiha... That is your name, is it not?"

"Correct. Sage of Six Paths... It seems you have heard of me somehow. So you really are watching over this shinobi world at every moment..."

Kaoru's scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan stared calmly at the Sage, who had appeared out of nowhere. His tone held neither surprise nor emotion.

Both his Mangekyō Sharingan and his Rinne Sharingan carried a look that seemed to see through everything.

"Ever since I arrived in this world... your name has surrounded me constantly, like the air itself..."

"A legend standing at the very peak of the shinobi world... and today... I finally stand before your true form..."

This sage, who had existed only in legends, was now within arm's reach. Kaoru's voice carried a deep, reverent weight as he spoke the Sage's true name.

"Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki..."

Kaoru whispered the name softly. His scarlet eyes remained fixed on the wisp-like figure drifting in the void.

"Legends say... that in ancient times, humanity lived in a terrifying era of endless war and slaughter. Then, a monk appeared—a man who was the first to understand the true essence of chakra. He spread the teachings of Shinobi Sect across the world, hoping to guide humanity toward peace. He was hailed as a savior..."

"And revered by all as... the Sage of Six Paths."

Legends say every ninjutsu in existence was created by him. In the chaos, he was called a Creator God, sent down from the heavens.

He taught people how to wield chakra, bringing immense convenience to their lives.

Yet others say he was a God of Destruction... because once people learned to wield chakra, war became far more horrific than before.

A single jutsu could now slaughter hundreds—something no weapon of iron or steel could achieve...
