"Anyway... that's just something no normal human could ever accomplish..." Sasuke looked at Kaoru, who floated calmly in the void not far away, his expression incredibly complex and his tone heavy with difficulty.
"Right now... he's even more terrifying than the Sage of Six Paths..."
"If he truly harbored ambitions to unify the shinobi world... we probably wouldn't stand a chance against him at all..."
"The Truth-Seeking Orb of the End... was also swallowed?!"
Black Zetsu, still pinned firmly to the ground, widened his eyes, utterly unable to believe the reality before him. "How is this possible...?"
"And... since you used a dōjutsu to create a black hole..." Black Zetsu's eyes burned with disbelief that he would never be able to accept, staring fiercely at Kaoru floating nearby. "...why weren't you affected by it?!!"
"Are you an idiot, Black Zetsu? Asking such a foolish question..."
Hearing the confusion in Black Zetsu's tone, Kaoru couldn't help but let out a faint, mocking laugh. His scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan gazed at him as if looking at a pitiful creature, filled with pity and mercy.
"It seems you've been so shaken by my technique that you've lost the ability to think..."
"As the one who cast this ninjutsu, naturally I wouldn't be affected. Your mother unleashed the Truth-Seeking Orb of the End, yet I don't see her destroying herself with it, do you?"
"Damn it..."
Black Zetsu, finally realizing his mistake, looked at Kaoru's gaze—treating him like a fool—and was instantly lost for words.
"In any case... it's all over now..."
A sigh, almost like a chant, drifted softly from Kaoru's lips. He gazed quietly at the infinitely expanding Truth-Seeking Orb of the End, along with everything surrounding it, being gradually absorbed into the pitch-black, unfathomable black hole.
He shook his head slightly, as if the curtain had fallen. Feeling the significant drain on his internal chakra, a faint smile rose at the corner of his mouth.
"The black hole I created... with my current ocular power and chakra... is more than capable of annihilating every form of existence, tangible or intangible..."
Gazing at the colossal entity ahead—the boundless Truth-Seeking Orb of the End—finally being completely pulled into the black hole, and the surrounding space gradually returning to calm, Kaoru drifted weightlessly in the void.
"The black hole formed by gravity now... is absolutely nothing like what I could create before..."
The battle between Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and Kaoru could no longer be called a fight between shinobi!
They had long transcended the ranks and classifications of ninja. Furthermore, their clash was no longer a contest of ninjutsu, genjutsu, combat theory, or tactics as shinobi fought; it was purely a struggle where each wielded their own immense chakra to wipe the other out of existence!
Just like those Hollywood-style catastrophic blockbusters, Kaoru and Kaguya clashed amidst crumbling worlds.
They cared nothing for the fate of reality itself—for whichever of the two defeated the other could, with their own vast reserves of chakra, reshape the world and restore its glory!
BOOM!!!
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was forcefully ejected from the void and slammed heavily onto the ground!
Her cold, indifferent face had drained of all color. Now, her pure white eyes were filled with unimaginable shock and dejection.
It was as if Kaoru had forcibly stripped away her glory and power as the Progenitor of Chakra, pulling her down from her divine pedestal back into the mortal dust.
"Winning this final war..."
"Winning this final war..."
Like a gentle breeze slowly drifting down to land before Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, Kaoru spoke with a voice void of any emotion. His eyes held a depth of meaning no one could ever understand.
He gazed at Kaguya, who seemed to have lost all her strength, barely able to stand. It was hard for others to imagine that this seemingly frail woman standing before them was the Progenitor of Chakra, the vessel of the Ten-Tails, the Rabbit Goddess—the demonic entity who had once struck fear and trembling into the hearts of all living beings.
Kaoru's voice finally settled into a deep, heavy tone: "Kaguya Ōtsutsuki... it seems the one laughing last... is me..."
"This is our chance?!" Seeing Kaguya half-collapsed on the ground, Naruto and Sasuke—who had been watching from afar—shouted loudly, calling out to Kaoru.
"Right, Kaoru! Leave the rest to us!" Naruto yelled. "I possess the Sage's Yang Power, and Sasuke possesses his Yin Power! Only when the two of us combine our powers and unleash Six Paths — Chibaku Tensei can Kaguya Ōtsutsuki truly be defeated!"
"Exactly. So let us take over this battle!" Sasuke spoke, his expression cold and serious.
"Let you take over... How laughable..."
Hearing Naruto and Sasuke's words, Kaoru couldn't help but snort coldly.
As an observer, watching the protagonists—whom he had once looked down upon—attempt to deal with Kaguya... it was a feeling Kaoru did not enjoy at all. Moreover, their words sounded as if they were the saviors of this world.
Because they are the protagonists, they cannot be defeated! Because they are the protagonists, everything is theirs by right!
Compared to them, Kaoru asked himself: compared to these protagonists, compared to these "main characters" who always survived no matter what... he was absolutely no weaker—only stronger!
Building from nothing, rising from weakness to strength... that isn't something achieved simply by saying a few words. It requires time and effort to accumulate. But Kaoru never saw that in these protagonists.
At the same age when Naruto was pulling pranks and causing trouble, Kaoru dared not relax for a moment and trained himself relentlessly!
At twelve years old, while Shikamaru and Chōji were carefree, eating barbecue and playing shogi... Kaoru had already joined the ANBU and was fighting and killing on the battlefield!
While Naruto was doing whatever he could just to catch Sakura's attention... Kaoru was already clashing with Orochimaru—one of the Three Legendary Sannin!
Through battle, through shedding blood, through training... Kaoru forced his own strength to grow step by step.
Yet these "main characters" lived lives of comfort and ease, yet somehow always managed to defeat enemies that seemed undefeatable!
A miracle is called a miracle precisely because it occurs rarely, and cannot be forced or expected. But when miracles constantly favor one person or one outcome... then they are no longer miracles, but destiny.
And it was exactly this kind of "destiny" that Kaoru saw in Sasuke and Naruto!
The Sage of Six Paths left behind the method to defeat Kaguya. Sasuke and Naruto were the reincarnations of his sons' chakra.
Every outcome was designed to follow the main storyline revolving around them... as if everything happening now was nothing more than a performance starring Naruto and Sasuke!
But what about the sacrifices? What about the ordinary shinobi of this world? Were they all destined to be supporting roles? Destined to be cannon fodder?
Was I, as a member of the Uchiha clan, destined to be slaughtered by Konoha?
Why were only Naruto and Sasuke special? Just because they were descendants of the Sage's sons?
Naruto and Sasuke get to save the world and become heroes... while others—like Neji—are destined to die?
Kaoru found the Sage of Six Paths' logic ridiculous. Regardless of how the story of the Naruto world was supposed to end, the reality was that he—a traveler from another world—had arrived here.
Were those characters who died in the original plot supposed to die simply so that Naruto and Sasuke could win in the end?
As human beings, the instinct to survive is fundamental. Were all those sacrifices made just so that Naruto and Sasuke's brilliance could shine brighter?
I'm sorry... but as a traveler from another world, Kaoru had absolutely no intention of letting everything simply go to Naruto and Sasuke!
"Save your lectures... I want to hear none of it..."
A clear, cold voice rang out. Kaoru didn't even glance at Naruto or Sasuke. Instead, he turned his gaze back toward Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
"This battle began between you and me... and it is only right that it ends between you and me..."
As his deep, drifting words fell, two vastly different powers suddenly erupted from Kaoru's body, reflected in the widening white eyes of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
One was the ultimate power of Yin... The other was the ultimate power of Yang...
"Kaguya Ōtsutsuki... you shall go to the Moon and reflect upon your actions for eternity..."
Reflected in the widened eyes of everyone present, Kaoru stood alone before Kaguya. He pressed his hands together fiercely in front of his chest.
As if guided by fate, a profound and mysterious power—vast as the universe itself—was instantly unleashed. Every trace of air in the surroundings seemed to freeze solid.
A mysterious, colossal divine image—existing somewhere between reality and illusion—manifested behind Kaoru. Its hands moved in unison with Kaoru's own, slowly coming together in a seal.
"NO!!!", Kaguya screamed in terror.
"I... the Progenitor of Chakra... am I going to be defeated... once again... by these scattered fragments of my own chakra?!"
Sensing this power erupting from Kaoru's body—a power she knew all too well—Kaguya let out a terrifying, blood-curdling wail.
Having only just been revived today after being sealed away for a thousand years... how could she possibly resign herself to being sealed away once more?
