He spoke of his long concealment and the grand Eye of the Moon Plan. The result was obvious—who would willingly live forever in a dream? Even if it was a beautiful one…
"'Infinite Tsukuyomi! Is this your goal, Madara Uchiha?!'" Disheveled and covered in dirt, the Tsuchikage asked in a heavy tone, seeking confirmation.
"'Hmph, you're regressing with age, Ōnoki,'" Madara Uchiha mocked, unmoved. "'Look closely. The history of shinobi is nothing but a history of war. The understanding and trust you speak of—have they ever become reality in any era?
Hashirama's ideal was ultimately just a fantasy. Only by fulfilling the desires of all people can true peace be achieved!'"
"'Ridiculous!'" Tsunade retorted, her eyes firm. "'Your so-called peace is nothing but trapping the entire world in an illusion. Don't you find such a world tragic?!'"
"'Tragic?'" Madara scoffed meaningfully. "'Since humans are incapable of understanding one another, we must create the conditions to make it so! Just as the true meaning of chakra was distorted by ninjas, giving rise to this sorrowful present!'"
How could you, who cannot even decipher the stone tablet, possibly understand the true nature of chakra? Why do you foolishly cling to an ideal that not even Hashirama could accomplish? How laughable!
"ROAR!!!" Mid-conversation, the Ten-Tails let out a roar that shook heaven and earth, signifying… its true revival!
"'Very well. You refuse to believe that the Eye of the Moon Plan can bring true peace. In that case, I shall let you experience it firsthand…'"
Madara Uchiha's deep and resonant voice rang out. Under the horrified gazes of everyone, he slowly extended his hands and formed a hand seal. An astonishing scene unfolded!
"'Let me feel the power of the Sage of Six Paths!!!'"
Madara's deep voice echoed through the air. As he completed the seal, a mysterious connection was established between his Rinnegan and the Ten-Tails. The colossal beast behind him was instantly absorbed entirely into his body.
BOOM!!!
The very atmosphere seemed to tremble. Everyone present involuntarily raised their hands to shield themselves from the powerful gusts of wind and flying dust.
"'Is this… the power of the Sage of Six Paths…'"
As the wind and dust gradually settled, Madara Uchiha's figure became clear. Seeing his current appearance, everyone widened their eyes in terror.
"'This… this is…'"
Looking at Madara's transformed form, Tsunade's beautiful eyes were filled with utter disbelief.
"'The Sage of Six Paths…'" Staring blankly at Madara before them, Kakashi and everyone else wore expressions of indescribable shock.
Long white hair, a sage robe marked with black tomoe patterns, holding a pitch-black staff, nine mysterious Truth-Seeking Balls floating serenely around his body, and a pair of eerie purple Rinnegan radiating a magnificent glow.
Although the cracks of Edo Tensei still remained on his face, even though none of them had seen the Sage of Six Paths before, this appearance matched their image of him perfectly.
"'It is finally complete…'"
Having become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, Madara sighed, feeling the peak-level chakra surging within him.
"'The only regret is… this is still an Edo Tensei body. Even as a Jinchūriki, I fear I haven't reached the true pinnacle of power…'"
"'However…'" Saying this, Madara Uchiha in his Sage of Six Paths form slowly swept his eerie Rinnegan over the allied ninjas before him.
"'Now, I, Madara Uchiha, grant you eternal peace. Rest forever in the blissful dream of the Eye of the Moon…'"
"'Heh heh…'"
Looking at the Third Tsuchikage unleashing a powerful attack, Madara Uchiha wore an expression of disdain and let out a mocking laugh.
"'You've grown quite old… yet your strength seems to have remained exactly the same… little Ōnoki…'"
Whoosh…
Without Madara even seeming to move, one of the Truth-Seeking Balls floating around him shot out instantly.
To everyone's horror, it effortlessly dispersed Ōnoki's massive Dust Release technique into nothingness, and continued racing toward him without losing momentum!
Whoosh…
Seeing this, the Fifth Kazekage Gaara was the first to react. Sand swirled around them, forming a shield in front of the Third Tsuchikage!
Clang!!!
But Gaara's sand was powerless to stop it. The Truth-Seeking Ball pierced straight through, leaving a clean hole, and slammed directly into Ōnoki's arm.
"'Ah…'" His entire arm was instantly annihilated, not a single drop of blood flowing from the stump. Even the resolute and experienced Third Tsuchikage couldn't help but cry out in pain.
BOOM!!!
Everyone turned in shock toward the source of the massive explosion in the distance. Where the black sphere had struck the ocean, the water seemed to have been completely sliced away, revealing a terrifyingly deep, black crater within the sea!
"'It can annihilate all matter and jutsu… That black substance is far stronger than my Dust Release… It exists on a level even beyond Kekkei Tota…'"
His aged eyes flashing with insight, the one-armed Ōnoki quickly analyzed the nature of Madara's Truth-Seeking Balls.
"'Didn't hit a vital point… I suppose I'm still not quite used to this power yet…'" Seemingly still adjusting to the overwhelming strength of being the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, Madara looked at his palm, the smirk never leaving his face.
"'However… how will you deal with this…'"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!!!
The moment Madara spoke, all nine black Truth-Seeking Balls floating around him shot out simultaneously. Their target was none other than Tsunade, who was preparing to heal Ōnoki!!!
Whether in the past or present, shinobi of the Senju clan were always Madara's priority targets. That fact had never changed!
"'Lady Tsunade!!!'"
Pale-faced, everyone watched helplessly as the nine orbs flew toward her. They wanted to intervene, but it was already too late.
Under everyone's gaze, just as the black orbs were about to strike, Tsunade—her face already filled with despair—suddenly vanished into thin air right before their very eyes.
"'She disappeared?!'"
Not only the ninjas, but even Madara Uchiha in his Sage form widened his Rinnegan in surprise, frantically scanning the surroundings for her location.
"'Could it be…'"
A name surfaced in Madara's mind, instantly followed by an overwhelming sense of danger. He immediately commanded the nine Truth-Seeking Balls to return.
"'Too slow…'"
A familiar voice, sounding almost like a sigh, reached everyone's ears. Shocked into realization, Madara swung his black sage staff upward and struck at the empty space above his head!
"'Sage Art: Heaven and Earth Shatter!!!'"
As if the air around him was being violently pushed aside, Madara looked up.
Reflected in his purple Rinnegan was a spear of terrifying sharpness, possessing the power to shake the very foundations of heaven and earth, crashing directly down upon him!!!
