Lightning started dancing around Adam who smirked at the man and said," thanks for the idea man ", with that two booms are heard along with an explosion.

Adam felt his hands are numb from the impact. The man stood in front of him and said," divine lightning huh. You must have received the power of Shazam or Black Adam. But you're mistaken if you think you can beat me with those hunting dog ".
Adam said," at least that's better than someone who is carrying a dozens of tentacles in his soul that can fuck him anytime ", Adam launched the lightning again countering the black flames released by the man.
They charged at each other again. Their fight started destroying everything around. The trident building is on full alert and evacuation. The building is being decimated by black flames and lightning. Adam frowned as he saw this is going nowhere. If this continues, the one who will lose will be him.
The man can teleport away to DC in two days but he will be here and he will be hunted down. Adam countered another sword swing coming at himbwitj telekinesis and blasted the man with a lunch coated in divine lightning. He then summoned flames and launched them towards the man.
Isis powers are really useful in times like this. Suddenly tentacles sprouted from the back of the man and grabbed the soldiers hiding there waiting for an opportunity. Before Adam can cast his lightning they're absorbed into the man.
" Looks like it's a second form of a boss in video game ", Adam muttered while summoning lightning from the sky. As the lightning hit the man he writhed in pain but gritted his teeth and send tentacles from his back towards his direction.
But Adam is ready. He used telekinesis on the tentacles deflecting them from reaching while using the wind to cut them into pieces. But only few cuts are made. The tentacles are surprisingly sturdy. Adam's mind raced with thoughts while dodging the attacks and using lightning again and again.
Finally he devised a plan, he started gathering lightning in the sky while fighting with the man. He used earth, water, ice, fire, lightning, nature, every element that can he can access with power of Isis. But it's not use.
The man is regenrating even faster than wolverine. The man stood in front of Adam and started his villain speech," I'm a herald of Cthulu, the harbinger of darkness, destroyer of divine. You made big mista-*crackle**boom**boom* *thundering sounds* ".
Adam said," i don't care octopus man. I'm not interested in eating octopus anyway. Just die already ", but it seems it's not that simple. The man stood there with his armour fully damaged, his pendant is broken, his sword is in two but he survived.
Adam couldn't help but sigh. He gathered nearly half an hour of that power in the sky and it's still can't kill this guy. Adam throw a lightning bolt again the man smashing him into the wall. Then he grabbed a nearby spear, as for what it's doing here. Why should he care?
Adam coated it in divine lightning before piercing the heart of the herald. He channeled lightning into the spear again and electrocuted the man to ashes. Then he turned to see, the trident building is no more. He smiled wryly before looking at the reward he received. He smacked his lips as a message is also arrived.

Adam felt new powers, knowledge and magical energy in his body. He opened a portal and disappeared. But he collected the broken artifacts of the herald. Who knows what will happen with these. He don't want a remnant here. Even the ashes are buried deep under the ground so no one will get them.
