Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 — The Hidden Blood

I knelt in silence, the cave's air cool and still around me. The echoes of Kurama's laughter faded softly in my mind, replaced by a steady hum of power that seemed to fill every cell of my body.

Now that the connection between us was complete, I could feel everything—every current of chakra, every grain of dust in the air. I wasn't just awake; I was alive in ways I never thought possible.

Time to move.

I began packing. Every scroll, every weapon, every seal that had been left for me. Whoever—or whatever—had placed these here knew what they were doing. There were scrolls containing ninjutsu, others sealed with vast weapon caches, and a few with rare fūinjutsu formulas so intricate that even I needed a moment to appreciate the craftsmanship.

One scroll in particular shimmered with golden ink, containing advanced kenjutsu forms I'd only seen in my inherited memories. Another carried thousands of kunai and shuriken, each perfectly balanced. I packed them all neatly into a single sealing scroll, condensing them for travel.

Once the cave was cleared, I pressed my palm against the stone floor and closed my eyes.

"Sensing Technique."

The chakra rippled outward in a wave, like ripples spreading across a pond. In an instant, my awareness expanded—past the cave walls, through the forests, through the quiet valleys beyond.

Three kilometers in every direction lit up in my mind.

I could feel every leaf shifting in the wind, every animal heartbeat. I focused deeper, filtering through signatures—searching for anything human.

"There," I murmured. "About a kilometer to the west… a settlement."

It felt small—perhaps a rural village or an outpost—but alive.

No monster signatures. No divine aura of threat. Just silence.

I let out a breath and slowly withdrew my hand from the ground.

"I see," I whispered. "So I'm truly alone here."

Kurama stirred within me. That's a good thing, brat. Fewer distractions while you get used to your new powers.

"Yeah, maybe."

I stood, my eyes narrowing as a thought surfaced. Something about my chakra—my bloodline—felt strange. Not in a dangerous way, but in how the world reacted to it.

The air around me was heavy with divinity, that much I could feel. The faint pulse of Zeus's bloodline ran through my veins—electric, ancient, regal. Yet over it burned something older, far more potent: the raw essence of the Uchiha and Ōtsutsuki.

Their combined presence didn't just mingle with divine energy—it overpowered it.

I realized then what was happening.

"My chakra… it's purifying the divine energy."

Kurama hummed thoughtfully. Not purifying. Dominating. The Sage's lineage was the foundation of chakra itself. The gods of this world were born from a different power source—crude, unstable. Your blood is older than theirs.

"So the monsters…"

They can't sense you, Kurama finished. Your chakra signature is something they've never encountered. To them, you're not prey—you're something above even divine beings.

A faint grin tugged at my lips. "That explains why I couldn't sense any monsters nearby. They can't even recognize me as a demigod."

Kurama rumbled softly with amusement. Heh. You're not just a demigod anymore, kid. You're something entirely new.

I walked to the mouth of the cave. A cool breeze swept in, rustling my hair as I gazed toward the distant forest. The horizon was quiet—peaceful. For the first time, I could see faint streaks of lightning across the far-off clouds, glowing faintly with divine light.

Father's domain. Zeus's storm.

I raised a hand, letting a small spark of electricity arc across my fingers. The lightning merged effortlessly with my chakra, dancing between red and gold.

"Superior to the gods, huh?" I murmured. "Then maybe it's time they remembered what true power looks like."

Kurama chuckled in my mind. Don't get cocky yet. You're still small, and this world is crawling with things that want a piece of your power. Learn it. Master it. Then we'll talk about shaking Olympus.

"Fair enough."

I sealed the cave entrance behind me with a quick hand sign, the stone closing seamlessly. Then I leapt into the trees, chakra flowing through my legs as I moved silently across the branches.

Somewhere ahead, humans lived—maybe demigods, maybe mortals. Either way, I needed information.

And for now, I would remain unseen.

The monsters wouldn't come for me.The gods wouldn't find me.Not yet.

Because in this world of myths and legends, a new power had awakened—and the heavens didn't even know it existed.
