Prologue - A moment in future

It was a peaceful afternoon,

In the serene atmosphere of the castle's backyard, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers that danced gently in the breeze,

Niko lay flat on his back under the lush tree behind the castle, hands behind his head, eyes closed, enjoying his alone time, listening to the sweet songs of birds.

A woman appeared, black hair cascading down her pale skin like a waterfall of night, dark eyes that seemed to hold a thousand secrets, horns on her head, wearing an elegant black gown that hugged her curves perfectly.

She sat beside him, eyes closed, head up, enjoying the moment briefly, her chest rising and falling with each gentle breath.

The soft breeze rustled the leaves of the tree, and the sweet scent of flowers filled the air, carrying the whispers of ancient secrets.

Then she gently woke Niko, saying,

Her voice was like music, soft and melodious, yet powerful enough to stir Niko's soul.

"Hey, wake up, do you want to sleep here?"

Niko opened his eyes slowly, looking at her with slight surprise and a hint of confusion, his gaze locking onto hers as if searching for answers.

He was still not used to the presence of this mysterious woman, Rosalind, who sat beside him with her black hair cascading down her pale skin and dark eyes that seemed to hold a thousand secrets.

His gaze wandered over her elegant black gown, admiring its intricate details, before returning to her face, where he noticed a small, enigmatic smile playing on her lips.

Niko brushed her hand off his cheek, frowning slightly,

as if trying to shake off the spell she had cast on him.

The woman, Rosalind, seemed amused by his reaction, her smile growing wider, her eyes sparkling with mirth.

Niko's heart skipped a beat as he realized how beautiful she was, and how much power she seemed to hold over him.

He tried to speak, but his voice caught in his throat, so he cleared it and said,

"Alright, I know, I wans't sleeping."

Niko lay there for a moment, then whispered to himself,

"How is this possible?"

Rosalind's eyes narrowed slightly, her voice laced with confusion,

"Are you talking about something?"

Niko sat up slowly, his eyes avoiding hers,

"No, nothing."

He finally stood up, towering over Rosalind, their height difference starkly apparent.

Niko looked at her briefly, then said,

"Alright, let's go."

Rosalind followed him quietly, her eyes fixed on his back, curiosity burning within her about his earlier whisper.
