Seojin sat on his bed, eyes fixed on the phone screen, watching the clock tick closer to midnight—the moment everything had begun before, and the moment it would begin again.
When the time struck twelve, people across the world would once again start being drawn into Gods' Fallen Sanctum (GFS)—a game-like world where you could slay monsters, wield weapons, and master the elements.
A world of pure fantasy and romance.
'Last time, I entered a day late because of my night shift jobs and traveling,' Seojin thought, clenching his phone tightly. 'I missed some of the first-time bonus stats too.'
He'd already prepared everything—stocked food, paid his bills, and even quit all his jobs.Because soon, there would be no point in working these kinds of jobs in this world anymore.
'Soon, this silly world that people consider is just a game will flip the real world upside down.'
When the clock finally hit midnight, Seojin lay down on his bed—not to sleep, but to awaken somewhere else.
Because the only way to enter GFS… was by falling asleep. Soon, it would be the same for every adult on Earth.
'Now that I think about it… no one ever figured out why this phenomenon happened,' he mused, as his vision faded into darkness.
When Seojin opened his eyes again, he was standing in a vast, dimly lit hall. Shadows stretched endlessly in every direction, and white-golden motes drifted through the air.
He exhaled softly, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "Welcome back… me."
The nostalgia hit hard—the same dark hall where it had all begun. The same awe he'd felt when he first saw the system messages appear before him.

[Please Select Your Class]
The glowing text floated before him like a divine decree. Seojin's fingers twitched slightly as he stared at the class selection screen.
"I was a warrior before… even managed to luck out and draw the Paladin class," he muttered. "Should I go that route again?"
But the thought of her flashed across his mind—Eunha's face, her smile, and that same face twisted in betrayal beside Hyunwoo.
Previously, Seojin had chosen the Warrior class because of Eunha. Thinking of her and wanting to keep her safe, he had picked the warrior class to stay on the front line and protect her.
His expression darkened thinking about those two again. "No. This time, I'll choose something else, a new path. Something I love and want to do for myself."
He walked toward a towering holographic panel displaying a hooded figure wielding twin daggers—an assassin cloaked in shadows.

'Yes… this time, I will—'
Before he could finish his thought, multiple golden screens erupted before his eyes, each flashing in rapid succession.

The once-quiet golden motes drifting through the air twisted chaotically, swirling around Seojin before coalescing into a dark, smokelike haze. The smoke clung to him, hugging every curve of his body, and in an instant, the air itself seemed to pulse with power.
A deep, shadowy hood formed over his head, black as the void, yet shimmering faintly with molten gold runes that writhed like living fire. Beneath it, a black metallic mask wrapped around the bottom part of his face, intricate golden cracks crawling across it, glowing like trapped suns. His eyes ignited with predatory golden light, piercing and emotionless, as if twin celestial flames had taken residence behind them.
The obsidian chestplate settled against his torso, smooth, muscular, and impossibly sleek. Golden veins traced arcane sigils across his shoulders and chest, pulsing with each heartbeat. Thin golden chains draped from his shoulders, crossing like ceremonial webs, each tipped with fangs or blades that seemed ready to bite at the world itself. A golden clasp, shaped like a demonic eye, fastened at his collar, glowing faintly with unearthly energy.
Layered bracers spread across his arms, black metal etched with shifting runes that danced as he flexed. Golden cuffs, like twisting serpents, coiled around his wrists. The gloves conformed perfectly, black leather reinforced with metallic knuckles, and when he clenched his fists, the golden veins blazed like molten fire.
Around his waist, interlocking black plates with golden trim formed a belt, adorned with dangling chains and trinkets. The central buckle resembled a demonic mouth, a gem embedded within pulsing as though it had a heartbeat of its own.
His legs were clad in flexible dark combat fabric, reinforced along the thighs and knees with blackened steel. Etched golden lines traced symbols of death and rebirth down his thighs to his boots. Mid-calf boots laced with gold-plated toes and heels, flaring faint sparks with every step — as if the earth itself acknowledged his presence.
The smoke and motes around him condensed and shimmered, melding seamlessly with the armor. The power coursing through him was overwhelming; it was not just a transformation of appearance, but of essence. Seojin could feel his Omni-tier potential awakening, every nerve and muscle charged with lethal capability.
Seojin's eyes widened in shock.
When a person chose a class, there was a small chance that they would be assigned a higher-tier or unique class with special equipment.
And that was exactly what had just happened to Seojin. The shocking part wasn't just the uniqueness of his class—it was the tier.
GFS contained thirteen known tiers of classes, skills, and equipment:
Crude, Common, Uncommon, Rare…
Epic, Heroic, Legendary, Mythic…
Transcendent, Divine, Origin, Abyssal, and Omni.
"In my previous life, I only had an Epic-tier class… and even the strongest players I knew barely reached Divine-tier," he whispered, voice trembling with disbelief.
'Ten years of grinding, exploring, killing bosses… and no one ever got past Divine. And I'm getting an Omni-tier class from the start?'
"Is this because of the Aether Eyes?" Seojin asked himself.
Seojin's heart pounded in his chest. A manic smile spread across his face.
He wanted to quickly open his character window and see what the only known Omni-tier class GODSLAYER had to offer, but he had to enter the world of GFS first.

"Hmmm… I can't use my old one," Seojin thought.
After contemplating for a few seconds, he chose his alias. "Yes, this should do."
