Chapter 58 - Yuka and Saya's Maid Outfits

Amazon Café.

After returning home, Yuka pulled Saya upstairs, wanting to surprise Raven. When they came back down, both had changed into black-stockinged maid outfits. This took Raven by surprise. He hadn't expected Saya to wear the outfit too.

"Master, what service can we offer you?" Yuka loved roleplaying the moment she put on a maid outfit.

Saya, who clearly wasn't as comfortable, nonetheless bowed alongside Yuka in front of Raven.

"Ahem, go make dinner, please," Raven awkwardly played along with the performance. He wondered if Yuka and Saya had made some kind of secret pact, as their harmony was too sudden. After all, Yuka had been incredibly jealous before.

But Raven didn't know that Yuka had already accepted reality and tacitly agreed that Saya was also Raven's woman, just like her.

"Master, are you sure you only want dinner?" Yuka leaned in, pressing her face against Raven's shoulder.

"Stop messing around, Saya is right here," Raven whispered, signaling the increasingly bold Yuka to tone it down.

"What does it matter if Saya is here? She'll be one of us sooner or later…" Yuka said nonchalantly, right in front of Saya.

Raven was shocked. How could this girl say such a thing so casually?

Saya, meanwhile, stood by, blushing, but said nothing. After their time together, she truly did have feelings for Raven, though she wasn't as uninhibited as Yuka. Yuka had discovered this recently and simply laid all her cards on the table. Surprisingly, the two had not had any conflict or jealousy afterward, instead treating each other like sisters.

However, having her feelings exposed in front of Raven still made Saya shy, and she quickly scurried toward the kitchen to start dinner, eager to escape. In her haste, she accidentally knocked a stack of books onto the floor.

She bent over to pick them up, completely forgetting how short her skirt was. Raven couldn't help but glance over and was immediately captivated. Saya realized what had happened and fled the scene as if running for her life.

"Was it that good? You were staring so intently," Yuka murmured into Raven's ear.

"Not bad… quite round," Raven instinctively voiced his thought.

"Hmph, so you're saying mine isn't as good as Saya's?" Yuka asked with a hint of jealousy.

"Well… yours is certainly great too…" Raven replied sheepishly.

Before long, dinner was ready. Saya gradually became more comfortable wearing the outfit in front of Raven, losing her initial shyness.

Raven enjoyed the royal treatment, waited on hand and foot by two beautiful maids. Just like that, the Amazon Café seemed to have transformed into a personal maid café exclusively for Raven.

Across town, at the Clover Bar.

Saeko Kageyama wore a spring-like smile as she mixed drinks behind the counter. She felt better and better each day. Unlike the gloomy Orphnochs, being an Amazon filled her with vitality. This made her glad she had made the conversion.

"Miss Saeko, are you truly alright?" Takuma asked with curiosity. Her sudden transformation from an Orphnoch into another species made him nervous and worried. Also, she hadn't been as gentle with him lately, as if something was on her mind, which made Takuma even more uneasy.

"Takuma, do I look like there's anything wrong with me?" Saeko teased.

"Well, I can't tell by looking…"

"Then that's all that matters, isn't it?" Saeko said dismissively. She even continued in a strange tone, "Maybe you should become an Amazon too."

"I… I think I'll stick to how I am now…" Takuma replied, startled.

Saeko laughed at him. "If you don't want to become an Amazon, then you can only wait for death as an Orphnoch," she said lightly.

"But didn't Raven say the Orphnoch King could save us?" Takuma countered.

"He also said the King's awakening requires sacrificing high-level Orphnochs. Who do you think is the most suitable high-level Orphnoch to become a sacrifice right now?" Saeko Kageyama retorted mockingly.

"N-no way… Does that mean the Orphnoch King is actually our enemy?" Takuma suddenly realized. He certainly didn't want to sacrifice himself for the King's awakening.

"To hell with the Orphnoch King! When he awakens, I'll be the one to strike him down. I'll be the new King," Kitazaki announced, walking through the door with an air of extreme contempt. He didn't seem to feel any sense of crisis, clearly overconfident in his own strength, even though he hadn't won his last encounter with Raven.
