Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 First Simulation Ends, White Dragon Bloodline

[Having responded to Morgan, you gained her affection. After learning your identity, Morgan did not hesitate to leave Camelot with you.]

[You brought Morgan back to the North. Upon seeing the Vile King again, you realized your father's health was not well.]

["It's alright, Is. My failing body is an omen of this era's end. It is not an issue."]

[Shaking his head, Vortigern laughed frankly at your concern. He still wanted to live to see you and Morgan's child be born and call him grandfather.]

[In the time that followed, you replaced the aging Vortigern as the new Lord of the North. With Morgan's assistance, you began your campaign to conquer Britain in earnest.]

[Ten years later, at twenty-six, you married Morgan. Your forces were powerful, having essentially unified most of Britain. The remaining enemies were only some southern lords and King Uther himself.]

[You heard a legend: King Uther had found a Succubus advisor. He seemed to be planning something major and had already begun acting.]

[Simultaneously, having entrusted Britain's future to you with peace of mind, Vortigern did not forcibly prolong his life. Awaiting death, he was approaching his life's end.]

[Facing this situation, your options are: A. Go south to investigate Uther's affairs. B. Continue developing the North and accompany Vortigern on his final journey.]

"I choose B, stay in the North."

He sighed. Although he knew it was a simulation, having truly experienced everything in the scenario over so many years, Ryuya had come to regard Vortigern as his father.

Knowing the old man deeply loved him, and suspecting Uther's plan involved creating the Red Dragon Artoria, Ryuya felt he needed to fulfill a son's duty.

[You did not go south, but chose to stay by Vortigern's side.]

[In his final days, with you and Morgan by his side, Vortigern, who had enjoyed a familial love he never had before, passed away content. Thus, the White Dragon of Britain died, and you, as the White Dragon's successor, became active.]

[Five years later, the North had become exceptionally powerful under your rule. You also heard rumors from the south: King Uther's health was also failing.]

[Realizing your opportunity had come, you led your army to attack the south.]

[Strange. Was it because the time for the decisive battle hadn't come? Or because your enemy was still growing? You found that every time the army set out, they encountered various natural and man-made disasters, essentially preventing your advance.]

[Another eight years passed. Stalled intermittently, you realized you had to wait for that fated rival to mature. That same year, you heard news of King Uther's illness and death, and of a new king, Arthur Pendragon, who pulled the sword from the stone.]

[You spent the next year reorganizing and preparing your army. During this time, you heard that King Arthur had unified the entire south with god-like speed, a pace that seemed to defy the world's rules.]

[You marched south. This time, your army's advance was smooth, with no disasters blocking your path. But you felt a sense of foreboding in your heart.]

[You met King Arthur. He was a knight who appeared very young, but his power and determination were immense.]

[You were not afraid. Compared to you in your prime, this King Arthur was just a child. He would be no match for you.]

[Just as you were about to succeed, heavy rain fell from the sky, flooding the army. You lost due to fate.]

[The following year, you organized another attack. But like last time, King Arthur was the Chosen One. You were still defeated.]

[For ten consecutive years, you had ten chances to defeat King Arthur, but failed at the critical moment each time. You understood: this was Destiny, unchangeable.]

[Finally, on the battlefield of the last decisive battle, you looked at the now-grown King Arthur and felt yourself growing old.]

["Take good care of Morgan... she is... your sister."]

[After leaving these words, you died.]

[On the battlefield, witnessing your departure, Morgan le Fay, your subordinates, and tens of thousands of people from the Northern city chose to commit suicide, willingly following you in death.]

[This simulation has ended.]

As the simulation screen darkened, Ryuya exited the life simulation.

'Damn, was that King Arthur Artoria? Fed by heaven itself? How could I lose like that?'

In the simulator, King Arthur always wore a full suit of armor and a mask. Every time they fought, he would lose inexplicably. Even after decades in the simulation, Ryuya didn't know if it was Artoria or a male Arthur.

But regardless, that guy was truly the Chosen One. Even he had lost.

[Evaluating this life simulation... Rating is B.]

[Evaluation: In your youth, you galloped across the land, had your own destiny, and changed the fates of Morgan and the Vile King Vortigern. But before the Red Dragon of Britain, you ultimately failed.]

[Reward Obtained: White Dragon Bloodline (B).]

[White Dragon Bloodline: The inherited bloodline from the Vile King Vortigern of Britain.]

[White Dragon's Body: Your body contains the power of the White Dragon, clearly surpassing humanity. Physical quality, mental power, agility, endurance, etc., all have A+ potential. However, due to your youth, you currently only possess B-rank attributes.]

[Scales of Wrath: Dragons have reverse scales, touch them and they rage. Under extreme emotions, you can transform into the White Dragon of Britain, greatly increasing all attributes.]

'So... it's over already?'

Glancing at his phone, Ryuya found the entire simulation had only taken one hour of real time, despite the many years spent in the other world.

And the moment the simulation ended, the power called the White Dragon Bloodline began to flow within his body.

'This feeling... so familiar.'

As the familiar White Dragon's power fit him perfectly, Ryuya adapted to it without any sense of unfamiliarity.

As the bloodline slowly circulated within him, his eyes, already shining like stars, took on a faint silver-gray hue. His exceptionally handsome features gained an additional touch of nobility and an undeniable, overbearing aura of one in authority.

Taking a deep breath, he thought to himself, 'Just one simulation had given him two major talents: Mana Affinity and the White Dragon Bloodline. And this was only a B-rank rating.'

'It was hard to imagine what rewards an S-rank rating would bring.'

Whispering Morgan's name softly, Ryuya didn't want to disappoint the witch who had accompanied him for so many years.

"Morgan, this time, I will change our history."

Taking a deep breath, Ryuya began the second simulation.
