The doctor, who had been observing Eric carefully, finally rose to his feet.
He cleared his throat gently. "Luna Mother?"
Claudia turned toward him immediately.
He gestured subtly toward the far corner of the room, away from listening ears.
She followed.
"What is it?" Claudia asked. The tremor lived only in her fingertips now.
"I have some concerns," the doctor replied carefully.
"Whats going on?" she pressed, lowering her voice further.
The doctor glanced toward the sofa where Eric lay unmoving.
"It looks like the Alpha is struggling with his wolf," the doctor said quietly. "I see the bleeding of colours in his eyes. That does not happen unless there is internal conflict." He hesitated before continuing. "I am afraid that if the wolf takes over when he wakes up… we may not be dealing with Eric. Will he be able to be controlled?"
