"Now," he continued, "I beg of you. Put on your clothes or I will have my guards come here, whether you are dressed or not, and throw you out."
"You hate me that much…" she whispered.
"You cannot even begin to comprehend how much I hate you," Charles said.
"You took my child away from me."
Vivienne's eyes flashed.
"Sera is not yours, you fool!" she shouted. "She is mine!"
Charles turned toward her instinctively, shock carving sharp lines into his face. In the same instant he realized she was still standing bare before him and wrenched his gaze aside again, jaw clenched so tightly it ached.
"You are lying!"
"Am i?" Vivienne raised a condescending brow.
"I don't believe you. I am going to walk out of this room right now and in five minutes you better be dressed or you will be thrown out exactly as you are." Charles finished and walked out.
