Emma sat below the stage, boredly scrolling through her phone, hearing the people at the same table starting to look annoyed.
"Why hasn't it started yet?"
"It's been an hour."
It was a long time. From the time they sat down until now, it must have been at least half an hour.
"Bored?" Alex asked softly.
In fact, quite a few people at the table were also looking at him curiously.
It was understandable, Alex was too excellent.
A person sitting at the same table couldn't help but speak up:
"Alex, I'm Dean from Cosell. I'm so lucky to be sitting with you today. I'd like to raise my glass to celebrate."
Alex smiled lightly, raised his glass, and replied: "Mr. Dean is so polite."
If there's a first person, there will be a second person. Before the ceremony even started, the whole table took turns raising their glasses to celebrate him. Alex made an excuse that he had to drive, so he only drank water, but no one dared to show any dissatisfaction.
