"What's the matter?" Alex had just finished the online meeting, seeing Emma's bad complexion, he walked to her side.
Emma's expression was complicated: "My mother just called, saying that she found her biological parents."
Alex raised his eyebrows slightly: "An acquaintance of ours?"
Emma nodded: "Yes. She said she was a member of the Evans family. Forty years ago, the Evans family lost a daughter, and now they say she was my mother."
