Chapter 1 - Blair Leviathan

At the beginning of the 20th century, due to the dual impact of war and influenza, economic crises occurred frequently and the global political situation was turbulent.

As a vulnerable group in society, omegas were once sold as slaves, and those who lost their loved ones and jobs were displaced and suffered misery.

The Ministry of Magic, which has ties with the Muggle government, is inevitably affected by setbacks, coupled with the increasingly rampant behavior of Gellert Grindelwald and the Witch Party.

The wizarding world was in a state of panic.

On November 4, 1926, the sky at noon was dark without a trace of light, and it seemed as if the sky was about to fall down.

Servants stood in a neat row outside the magnificent White House gate, and the cold sweat on their faces was clearly visible in the cold wind.

The younger maid gritted her teeth, and when she heard the faint screams coming from the castle, fear trembled in her pupils.

I don't know how long it took, the omega on the bed was panting exhausted, and the sweat that kept sliding down his pale neck with bulging veins soaked the pillow.

The dark brown pupils suddenly widened, like a fish on the chopping board, breathing hard, craving for air.

However, what was even more bizarre was that the room was full of people in black robes silently surrounding the bed.

A pair of dark and calm eyes watched this dying struggle scene.

In the silent room, the only sound was the ticking of the golden clock on the wall.

"Snap! Snap! Snap..."

The sky finally gave way, and heavy rain lashed the castle windows under a hurricane.

As the sound of rain fell, the long-awaited cry suddenly rang out. The man in black robe quickly wrapped the newborn baby in a blanket, his movements gentle as if he was touching an extremely fragile treasure.

"Open your eyes."

The hoarse, old voice could not hide her excitement, and the baby girl miraculously stopped crying and looked at the person holding her.

"Merlin bless you!! Merlin bless you—"

A low, trembling voice repeated these words.

The others looked like they had received some great surprise. Their expressions were hidden by the dark brims of their hats, but their rapid breathing still revealed their inner excitement.

The baby blinked his clear eyes. Even though he was too young to see his appearance, his delicate nose was exactly the same as that of the omega.

The most peculiar thing is her extremely rare golden pupils.

The slightly narrow pupils radiate dark golden lines, majestic and noble in the darkness, which does not look like a baby's eyes at all.

The excited crowd in black robes quickly walked out of the room, and the opened door was closed again.

Tears of pain filled his eyes, which were broken by the approach of death, and he watched longingly as the crowd completely disappeared from his sight.

He didn't even have time to look at her.

The dizziness and weakness caused by excessive blood loss made the omega unable to move at all. The breath in his nose became weaker and weaker, and the air was filled with a strong smell of blood.

The rain outside was so heavy that it hit the aluminum windows and slid down quickly like teardrops.

His breathing stopped, and only the sound of cold rain remained in the dark and cold room.

At 12:48 p.m. on November 4, 1926, Leviathan's late wife gave birth to a daughter and named her Blair Leviathan.

Fifty-seven days later, in another corner of the world, Merope Gaunt, a descendant of Slytherin, was taken in by the Wu Orphanage in a state of hunger and cold.

On the same day, Merope successfully gave birth to a son, named Tom Riddle, and she also died after her energy and blood were exhausted.

Time flies, and more than ten years have passed in such a "plain" way.

Leviathan Castle is located in Inverness, the northernmost part of Scotland. This mysterious castle is surrounded by wild woods and is filled with cold and damp air that has been there for thousands of years.

"Bang!"

A slight explosion suddenly sounded in the silent living room, but no one dared to look up.

The girl landed smoothly from the gold-rimmed fireplace, her black hair casually tied up with a ribbon and hanging naturally on her shoulders.

The elegant old British butler walked up to her and bowed respectfully: "Miss, the master is waiting for you in the study."

"Um."

Blair responded indifferently and walked upstairs without any hesitation. The end of his red-patterned robe drew a sharp arc in the air.

The study is on the easternmost side of the second floor. A strange pattern resembling a snake and a dragon is engraved on the black door.

"Knock knock."

Blair raised his hand and knocked on the door twice, and the door opened automatically a second later.

The room was dark and depressing, with only the candlesticks on the wall emitting a faint light, and the red flames reflected the cold metallic luster of the bookcase.

Sitting at the long table in the middle was an elderly man with a hunched back, and even if he tried his best to straighten himself it was no use.

He was so old that only skin and bones were left.

This is the current ruler of the Leviathan family - Formont Leviathan, who is also Blair's biological Alpha father.

The girl strode to the opposite side of the old man, casually pulled out a chair and sat down. Her seemingly offensive behavior did not cause any reprimand from Formont.

Formont's dark eye sockets shrank, and a hoarse voice sounded: "Blair, you are expelled from Durmstrang."

Durmstrang, a dark magic school that does not accept Muggle-borns.

Their teaching methods were brutal, and the warriors raised by ice and snow were cold and fierce, but even though the control over curses was so loose, Durmstrang was still unwilling to keep Blair.

Hearing this, the girl propped up her chin lazily, her face looking pale against the black leather gloves, and raised her eyes slightly.

"It's just a few deaths, but those old guys are scared to death."

She casually skipped over the title without any respect, and Formont shuddered in surprise.

Those golden eyes were like flowing hot golden lava, emitting a faint golden light in the dark room.

"Of course, dear, but we should finish our studies—"

Formont's throat tightened and he swallowed.

"Perhaps you would like to go to Hogwarts?"

The air became stagnant, and a foul smell gradually rose up, so low that it was hard to breathe. The roar of the burning flames covered up the slight breathing sounds.

After a long moment, Blair lowered his eyelashes and put the gold Galleon he was fiddling with between his fingers back into his pocket.

She simply stood up and walked out of the room, leaving behind a flat response.

"Whatever."

As the only heir of the family, Blair Leviathan unsurprisingly differentiated into a powerful Alpha at the age of eleven.

She also has an ability that she has had since birth: she can sense the souls of others, and whether good or evil will turn into smell and become her appetite.

As for whether the smell is good or bad, it depends on the person. Sometimes even a good person may not smell good.

But apparently, Vermont smells terrible.

A faint pheromone lingered in the bedroom, and the so-well-controlled scent that only a hint of cool dampness could be felt.

Blair leaned against the window, his slightly narrowed eyes not as oppressive as before, but instead had a kind of gentle flirtation.

Looking up inadvertently, the new maids were bewitched by the smile on the young lady's lips, and some of them blushed with shyness.

"Hurry up and work! Don't sit idle!"

The old head servant warned with a serious face, ignoring the maids who scattered like birds in panic, and bowed to Blair who was standing by the window.

The voice was respectful: "Good afternoon, Miss. I hope these children have not offended you."

The man didn't dare to look up, and thin beads of sweat slid down his face. Half a minute later, he smiled leisurely.

"Of course, they look interesting."

After saying this, the old servant remained respectful: "It is their honor to receive praise from the young lady. I will discipline them well."

"Then I'll have to trouble you, Chief Servant."

Only after hearing this did the man put aside his anxiety and glanced at the maids around him with a warning. These newcomers would never know where Leviathan's missing slaves had gone.

They are like butterflies that are ignorant of the world, but they don't realize that what lies ahead is not sweet silk wrapped in flowers and jewels, but a huge abyss hidden behind it.

They will often be completely devoured, leaving only their remains.

The golden pupils in front of the window moved around, clearly seeing the fear hidden by the old servant.

Boring.

All his expressions were gone in an instant, Blair drew the curtains expressionlessly, and lay lazily on the bed.

Slender fingers took the school badge on the bedside, with Hogwarts engraved in simple black ink.

Stroking the hard edge of the metal, the girl had a half-smile on her face.

She wanted to see what tricks this old man was going to play.

Completely different from the coldness of Northern Europe, Hogwarts is like a dream castle standing in a sparkling lake, with romantic towers reflected in the blue sky and sunshine pouring into the lush forests around it.

After using the teleportation technique to land, Blair looked around at the place where he would be staying for the next three years.

There was an anti-disapparition spell in Hogwarts, so she could only move and stop near the gate.

Alpha has a tall figure and delicate features, and his calm and elegant gestures attract the attention of the students passing by.

Especially those strange golden eyes, which are extremely rare even in the wizarding world.

Noisy discussions gradually came to her ears. Blair glanced at the girl who had just screamed. The petite omega covered her mouth in embarrassment.

The Alpha raised a perfect smile on his face, and his charming demeanor immediately made the Omega blush and hold on to his friend beside him in panic.

Ignoring the noise he had made, Blair leisurely walked into the castle.

Butler Burrell had already delivered all of his young lady's belongings to the principal's office in advance.

Although Master Formont emphasized that he should send her to Slytherin, he did not dare to act rashly without the knowledge of Blair.

Walking through the corridor, the girl knocked on the door with ornate patterns and walked in after hearing the invitation.

The principal's office is a spacious and beautiful round room. Many strange and unusual books are placed on the table with long and thin legs.

Standing beside the table was a serious-looking, thin old man, the headmaster of Hogwarts - Armando Dippet.

"Welcome, Miss Leviathan, I'm Armando Dippet."

"Hello, Mr. Dippet."

Seeing the girl's polite appearance, the old man finally put aside his original worries a little. He couldn't help but look at Blair a few more times.

Unlike other pure-blood families, the mysterious Leviathan enjoys a strange reputation throughout the wizarding world.

This extremely secretive family was even able to confuse the Ministry of Magic's specially trained owls for sending letters.

It is rumored that Leviathan's vaults are countless, containing enough gold galleons to flood England, and are regarded as a symbol of wealth.

Now, looking at the girl's golden eyes, the old man suddenly felt that the rumors were not without reason.

Dippet cleared his throat and was about to speak when he was unexpectedly interrupted by an exclamation.

"Oh... How many years have passed, Leviathan... Your eyes are incredible..."

The portrait of the woman on the wall suddenly spoke. Her eyes were dazed and she was mumbling something that was hard to hear clearly.

"This is Mrs. Phyllida Spurr, who is also a great herbalist."

Dippet stroked his long beard and explained to Blair in front of him. To be honest, he didn't understand what this sixteenth-century headmistress was talking about.

"Hey! You little brat..."

After muttering something strange in her mind, Mrs. Spohr turned her head and ignored everything else.

The old man smiled awkwardly and quickly regained his serious expression.

"Ms. Leviathan, welcome to Hogwarts. We have learned that you were expelled from Durmstrang because of your magical fluctuations that caused you to injure someone."

"I also checked your grades, and they are indeed excellent."

Thinking back to his report card with almost all O's, Dippet thought to himself: Maybe only Tom can compare to me.

"Hogwarts welcomes any student who admits his mistakes and is willing to correct them. I hope you can do better here."

"After your sorting is completed, your belongings will be handed over to the prefect of that house."

Blair nodded slowly. Seeing her like this, Dippet's eyes flashed with surprise, and then he continued.

"The sorting will take place tonight. Now you can familiarize yourself with the academy's environment under the guidance of Professor Smith."

Just as he finished speaking, a strange-looking witch walked in.

She was thin, with a high, hooked nose, and a somewhat fierce face, but her friendly gaze softened it.

"Hello, Ida Smith."

"Blair Leviathan, it's an honor to meet you."

Blair politely returned the handshake, and after a brief farewell to Dippet, the two walked out of the principal's office side by side.

Just as Blair guessed, Ada was indeed a gentle and kind professor, otherwise Dippet would not have asked her to take care of the new students.

"Blair, I mean can I call you Blair?"

Seeing the girl nod faintly, Ada continued with a smile.

"According to your information, your differentiation characteristic is Alpha. If you have any difficulties in life, you can come to me."

"I will be your Herbology professor for the next semester."

Hearing this, Blair smiled and agreed.

"Thank you for your kindness, Professor Smith."

To Ada's surprise, the girls were very easy to get along with and not at all like the troublemakers they had imagined.

For a moment, Ada felt a little sorry for the bad image she had guessed before, so she introduced it to the girl next to her more enthusiastically.

The bright sunlight shone on the stone slabs, and the places that had been walked on for many years were shining brightly. Blair squinted his eyes slightly, and heard Professor Ada's chatting voice in his ears.

I casually glanced at the sparse crowd, and what caught my eye was the translucent light with a pearly luster.

Dazzling in the soft sunlight.

Then it disappeared around the corner of the corridor.

Blair raised his eyebrows slightly and silently took note of the silver and green tie.

The waist is very thin.
