"Uncle Yang~ Why are we on another space station?" March 7th whined as she looked through the windows of the Express. Dan Heng remained silent as he made a note of Welt's eagerness to disembark.
The usually wise looking Uncle Yang figure had suddenly fired up back into his youth.
His glasses gleamed as he pushed them back onto his nose bridge.
"That is because it is finally my turn. I've been waiting for the longest time since I found out." Welt replied in a wise sage like tone.
Himeko giggled as she emerged from the cabin door, "That's right, this is the first time that Dan Heng and March 7th have been here." She explained.
"This is the space station of Charles, #85 of the Genius Society. Famed for being the first known dual emanator of the Erudition and Elation. Also Welt's idol with his business of making mecha mobile suits."
Welt coughed slightly as the group looked at him in a new light. "Mecha suits are cool no matter the age." He defended himself as Dan Heng and March 7th observed the Express docking. Both had a new impression of the space station.
Considering the space station had a giant model of a lucky cat perched on its tower, the two had been hesitant with having any good impressions.
The Astral Express soon finished all clearance as the doors opened and the crew found themselves face-to-face with a orange ball shaped dog. "Permissions confirmed, permissions confirmed." The orange ball bounced as it echoed.
"This is Haro, well, one Haro. A mechanical mascot created by Charles." Welt explained.
"Rerouting destination to Charlie. Rerouting destination to Charlie" The ball echoed as it rolled and stopped occasionally. The group understood that they were to follow. As they moved throughout the space station, they realised one thing.
Not a lick of genius could be found, everything they had seen was so outlandish. Compared to Herta Space Station which clearly gave off the vibes of a research environment, the space station here was so outlandish and stupid that no hint of genius could be felt.
March 7th suddenly asked and tugged Dan Heng, "Hey, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Dan Heng was prepared for March 7th's stupidity, but the sight that graced his eyes had him even questioning if March 7th was secretly a genius.
Haro noticed the group suddenly stopping as it bounced and explained, "Semi-perpetual energy source, semi-perpetual energy source."
The sight that the Astral Express would unknowingly find itself it the think-tank later on. A cat bound to a piece of bread with jam on one side was floating and spinning at incredible speeds without any signs of stopping.
Dan Heng observed with curiosity as he asked Haro, "So what makes it semi-perpetual and why does this work?" Haro froze for a moment as it displayed aa holographic introduction.
[Cat and Bread Semi-Perpetual Engine]
[The first energy source of the space station before the production of the GN-drives. This energy source operates under the influence of the Elation. By utilising two conceptual outcomes, and synchronising their conceptual outcomes we can produce an energy source. A cat always lands on its feet, a bread with jam will always land on the jam side. By utilising and proving two separate occurences within a confined space we can collide the two conceptual proven rules to cause a conceptual error in which the spinning rotation force is an expression of the conceptual battle. The result is semi-perpetual in nature as the experiment will continue to run until the cat dies or the jam falls of the bread, or the bread itself fails to qualify as bread conceptually.]
The group remained dumbfounded.
Dan Heng was the first to break, "Well, from the information provided, logically it is sound." March 7th remained silent before asking, "Well, I guess rules are meant to be broken."
Welt looked at the experiment before looking even more pumped up. His mecha mobile-suit must be even cooler.
"Alright let's keep going. Let's not keep Charlie waiting." Himeko chuckled as the group followed her like baby ducklings.
They walked through a long corridor before taking the elevator to the basement floor. It was then that Welt's dreams and fantasy came true. Even Himeko, Dan Heng and March 7th who didn't have much of an interest in mecha suits had to admit the majesty of such creations.
In each large ship container was a mecha suit, each engraved with "Gundam" Each with its own designation.
Frankly when Charles first decided to recreate a few gundams he only really had an interest in the 00 series and the famous Rx-78. It was the first time he had encountered the gundam series.
And the last one had been finished today. Three different generations and a custom gundam for Welt Yang of the Astral Express.
He rubbed his hair out of habit as he gazed back at the sound of Haro bringing people in.
"Hello, nice to meet the Astral Express again. I see a few new nameless have joined. Nice to meet you too." He soon turned his head and faced Welt.
"Well Mr Yang, your Gundam is ready." Charles placed the manual operating key into Welt's hands. "It should have your bio-recogntion coded already, but if you wish you can always switch to manual engagement. Oh, and I don't think I need to tell you this as you signed the papers, but I do have backdoors in all my suits." Charles explained as Welt nodded.
The container opened as Welt gazed upon the sleek gundam with white, black, red and purple highlights. Charles spoke again "Gundam Logos, disengage GN-Drive repause. Transferring priority to designation, Welt Yang."
The Gundam was lifted upright as a blue gleam emerged from its eyes. The GN-Drive lit up as green particles began to emerge with a steady hum.
Welt smiled before looking at the specs.
Two GN Beam Sabers
Two shoulder artillery missile launchers
One GN-Graviton Rifle
One GN-Sword III
Operating System: COS
Energy Source: GN-Drive
Welt beamed at Charles before clasping his hands in a handshake.
"My dream has come true thanks to you Charlie." He exclaimed.
Charlie nodded, "Alright you have fun with your Gundam, I still need to fine-tune the 00 Quant."
"00 Quant?" The rest of the group suddenly became interested. It was natural, 00 Quant sounded better than Logos. Sounded more sciency, more cool.
"Yes, the 00 Quant. Something I'm working on for my own collection project."
The Gundam that opens up the future.
