Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 The Imprisoned Woman

Although he had Summoned a Goblin once before, it was to help Adrian escape, leaving the Summoned Goblin behind to cover his retreat.

Adrian hadn't even enjoyed the thrill of Summoning a monster before the Goblin was already dead.

Looking at the Goblin's corpse on the ground, Adrian picked up his short sword and skillfully cut off its claws and left ear.

Placing these two items in front of him, Adrian activated Spirit Offering!

A flash of white light appeared, and a Goblin about 1.3 meters tall materialized in front of Adrian .

As soon as the Summoned Goblin appeared, he looked around, then stood still in front of Adrian , quietly waiting for Adrian 's command.

"Excellent!"

Adrian looked at the Goblin in front of him and clapped his hands excitedly, saying, "With the first one, there will be a second. It won't be long before I can hunt more Goblins!"

All things are difficult before they are easy!

For Adrian , getting a powerful Summon was most difficult with the first one.

But once he had the first one, the rest would be easy.

Under Adrian 's instruction, the Summoned Goblin picked up the wooden club that the previous Goblin had dropped and leisurely returned to the church camp.

From their appearance, the Summoned Goblin and the club-wielding Goblin showed no difference.

When the Summoned Goblin walked into the camp, the surrounding Goblins didn't notice anything unusual.

Without any hindrance, the Summoned Goblin passed through the broken door and entered the interior of the church.

At this moment, Adrian 's consciousness descended upon the Summoned Goblin.

Everything the Summoned Goblin saw was shared with Adrian in real-time.

This church, being the place where everyone had transmigrated, had now become the lair of this group of Goblins.

Besides the few Goblins at the entrance outside, there were more than a dozen Goblins inside the church.

Some were sleeping on the ground, some were busy cooking in front of a large pot, and two Goblins were squatting in a corner playing rock-paper-scissors.

There were also some bone fragments on the ground, with a few skulls being particularly noticeable.

When the Goblin's vision turned to a relatively flat area, Adrian 's heart suddenly trembled.

He saw four scantily clad women, huddled together, lying on thick straw!

Their faces were haggard, their lips cracked, and their bodies were covered in bruises from resisting.

When Adrian arrived in this different world, he had observed everyone.

He immediately recognized three of the four women as those who had transmigrated with him.

The other woman had golden hair and an unfamiliar face, appearing to be a native of this different world.

On the women's necks and arms, finger-thick, unknown vines were tied.

The other end of the vines was tied to the hand of a sleeping Goblin.

Trapped in the Goblin's nest, they had no thought of escape; their eyes were hollow and numb.

As Adrian manipulated the Summoned Goblin to approach, a hint of fear appeared in their hollow eyes, and their trembling bodies continuously squeezed backward.

Seeing this scene, Adrian felt very uneasy.

"I must find a way to rescue them!"

Adrian made the Summoned Goblin move around, carefully observing each Goblin.

When Adrian walked in front of the headless statue inside the church, he suddenly discovered another Goblin lying there.

This Goblin was sturdier than the surrounding Goblins, standing about 1.5 meters tall.

Next to his thick arm lay a Short Axe.

"I can't see his information panel!"

Adrian thought, realizing something was wrong.

He could only not see the panel information of monsters whose level exceeded his own.

This Short Axe Goblin in front of him was clearly a Level 6, or even higher, Goblin.

"The Goblins below Level 5 around here don't have professions, but they clearly belong to different troop types.

There are Bow Goblin archers responsible for vigilance, Short Sword Goblins for melee, and so on.

But this doesn't mean Goblins don't have professions!

The Goblin in front of me, being above Level 6, very likely already has a profession!"

Intelligent monsters, like humans, have various professions.

This means there's a high probability that the Short Axe Goblin is a Warrior profession.

The more Adrian analyzed, the more he felt he couldn't win.

Goblins were different from Slimes; their combat power was very strong.

Goblins with professions might even have professional skills.

Even though Adrian was already Level 5, he was definitely no match for this Goblin!

He made the Summoned Goblin carefully retreat, turning to walk towards the entrance.

As he passed a large pot set over a fire, Adrian also saw human torsos soaking in the water!

As expected, these were all humans hunted by the Goblins!

The Summoned Goblin exited the church and approached a Goblin leaning against the rubble by the entrance, staring blankly.

"Woo-wah woo-wah..."

Hearing the Summoned Goblin say he saw a Slime, the dazed Goblin immediately perked up, picked up a nearby long spear, and followed the Summoned Goblin into the forest.

As soon as the Long Spear Goblin was out of sight of the other Goblins, Adrian immediately had the Summoned Goblin attack him.

The Long Spear Goblin was still looking for traces of the Slime when he was suddenly struck from behind by the Summoned Goblin's club, directly falling unconscious to the ground.

Adrian seized the opportunity to come out and kill him with his short sword.

Everything went smoothly!

Adrian Summoned another Goblin!

After the second Goblin appeared, he picked up the long spear on the ground and stood in front of Adrian with his 'senior'.

"The method works. If it goes smoothly, I might be able to eliminate a large portion of the Goblins in the stronghold!"

Because of the Short Axe Goblin's presence, Adrian couldn't possibly annihilate all the Goblins inside.

Next, Adrian used the same method to lure the other five Goblins at the church entrance into the forest and kill them all.

Three of them became Adrian 's Summons, bringing Adrian 's Summoned Goblins to five!

The claws and left ears from the other two Goblin corpses were also cut off by Adrian and placed in his waist pouch for later use.

Among the seven Goblins killed, not every one was Level 5.

In his personal panel information, the experience bar had changed to 38/500.

He just hadn't encountered any Goblins with skills yet.

"There's one Bow Goblin on top, and thirteen Goblins inside the church, one of whom is a Short Axe Goblin!"

While the other Goblins hadn't noticed anything yet, Adrian sent a Summoned Goblin with a dagger to climb the broken wall, slowly approaching the Bow Goblin acting as a lookout.

Within the entire stronghold, only this Goblin was equipped with a bow and arrows, possessing ranged attack capabilities; the others were all melee.

As long as this one was dealt with, even if a fight broke out later, Adrian wouldn't have to fear arrows raining down from above!

The Bow Goblin had already noticed a fellow climbing up behind him. He opened his mouth to ask the reason for his ascent.

The Summoned Goblin approached while giving a fabricated reason.

The Bow Goblin didn't realize the danger at all, mumbled a few words, and then turned back to continue looking down.

Splat~!

The dagger slit the Bow Goblin's throat, and blood dripped uncontrollably.
