Morning came soft and golden, sunlight washing over the ruins of Arlong Park. The waves were calm again — the sea itself seemed to breathe easier now that Arlong was gone.
The villagers were free. Nami's tattoo was gone, covered by a fresh bandage.
Her smile was real this time.
Kai leaned on the broken wall, camera snail hanging lazily beside him.
The stream was back on, though quiet — just showing the aftermath.

He laughed softly. "Yeah, yeah… I'm alive. Barely."
Down below, Luffy was stuffing himself with food that the villagers had cooked to celebrate.
Zoro snored beside a barrel.
Sanji was surrounded by giggling girls from the village, of course.
Kai joined Nami near the docks. She was looking at her tangerine trees, the small grove swaying gently in the sea breeze.
"They survived," she said softly.
Kai smiled. "Guess they're as stubborn as you."
She elbowed him lightly. "Don't start."
For a moment, neither spoke. Just waves, sun, and peace.
Then Nami looked at him seriously. "You knew, didn't you? About Arlong. About everything."
Kai hesitated, then nodded. "Yeah. I had… a feeling."
She frowned slightly. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because you wouldn't have believed me," he said gently. "And because it was your story to finish, not mine."
Nami's expression softened. "You're weird, you know that?"
Kai grinned. "Takes one to know one."
Later that day, the villagers threw a feast.
Luffy danced horribly.
Usopp told another ridiculous story about how he defeated Arlong.
Zoro drank until he passed out again.
Kai streamed bits of it — laughter, clinking cups, music under the stars.

He noticed it instantly. Every time he laughed or joked, people responded more warmly.
Nami caught him mid-smile. "You seem happier today."
Kai looked at her. "I am."
Sanji interrupted, slamming a plate down beside them. "Eat! You'll need energy to keep up with us!"
Kai smirked. "Oh, is that a challenge, chef?"
Sanji grinned. "You couldn't handle my spice if your life depended on it."
"Oh yeah?" Kai took a big bite — and instantly regretted it. "HOLY—!"
The entire crew burst out laughing as he ran for water.
The next morning, they gathered at the Merry.
The villagers came to see them off.
Genzo gave Nami a small bag. "For your journey."
She hugged him tightly. "Thank you… for everything."
He smiled. "Be free, Nami."
As she walked up the gangplank, the villagers shouted her name.
Tears rolled down her cheeks again, but this time, they were happy ones.
Kai leaned on the railing, watching quietly as the Merry began to drift away from shore.

Kai smiled. "Guess even the system's proud of us."
Zoro looked up from his nap. "You talk to yourself too much."
Kai shrugged. "Maybe I'm just entertaining invisible people."
Usopp blinked. "You… what?"
"Nothing."
As the island faded into the horizon, Luffy shouted, "Next stop — Loguetown!"
"Loguetown?" Kai repeated, tilting his head. "Oh great, foreshadowing. Love that."
Sanji blinked. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing!" Kai said quickly.

He couldn't help laughing. "You guys are worse than a spoiler page."
As the sun dipped low and the sea shimmered gold, Nami leaned against the railing beside him.
"You really aren't normal," she said.
"Would normal be more fun?" he asked.
She smiled faintly. "Maybe not."
Then she looked away, the breeze brushing her hair aside. "I'm glad you came with us, Kai."
He blinked, a little caught off guard. "Yeah? Even with all the trouble?"
"Especially because of it."
He smiled quietly. "Then let's make sure it never gets boring."

Kai leaned back against the mast, stretching. "All right then, chat. The East Blue saga's wrapped. Next stop — new seas, new chaos."
He raised his camera snail, grin wide and easy.
"To freedom, family, and a future full of trouble."
The Straw Hats cheered behind him. The Merry sailed forward.
And as the waves caught the sunlight, the stream faded out with a single caption:
