Raven POV:
"Raven, are you—?" She paused, her gaze flicking between me and Tyler, her expression darkening further. I could already see the questions in her eyes. Why is he in your room? Why is he in here at all?
I didn't know how to answer. I barely understood it myself. One moment I was sleeping, the next I was shoving Tyler off me like some kind of messed-up dream. But I couldn't explain it to Alex. Not yet.
I was about to open my mouth, but Alex didn't give me the chance.
Her next words came out like a knife, sharp and pointed. "What exactly do you think you're doing in her room, Tyler?"
There was no mistaking it. The anger in her voice wasn't just because she didn't like him, it was because she didn't trust him—and after everything that had happened between Lucian and me, who could blame her?
Tyler, ever the diplomat, stood up slowly, brushing himself off. "I wasn't—"
