It's official. Xavier had lost it. Never, in my entire existence, did I ever think I would see the day when Xavier—of all people—would break his calm facade. Not in the hundreds of years I'd known him. Not after all the battles, the chaos, the family drama, and everything in between. But there he was, acting on his emotions for the first time in history. And it was nothing short of… unsettling.
I've always known Xavier to be the composed one, the quiet observer. The one who kept his head cool, no matter how hot the situation got. He didn't get swept up in anything—whether it was battles, fights, or people's bullshit. He was always detached, always a step ahead, always in control.
