Khael's pov
After a few days I was finally allowed to leave the hospital, before I could argue Mom had guided me into her car.
"No need for debates". she had said firmly and even explained that she had discussed it with Darius.
They had already exchanged contacts without my knowledge and discussed about me too which wasn't appealing, but I'm too tired to bother with them.
"Over the weekend, I will get Rowan back from him. I am looking into schools for him already".
"Mom?"
"Yes darling?" She replied, as she put all of her focus on the road.
"I know that I cannot turn back time or get back the time we've missed but trying my best to make it up to you both.
And I'm proud of the career you were building for yourself. After the baby arrives, you can return to the spotlight and I will take care of the baby".
I could hear the smile on her words, my heart swell and tears filled my eyes again.
