A new beginning in a new world...
A new opportunity will occur — or new problems, who knows...
What destiny has decided this time for him?
But the world seems to be silent.
Not the silence of death, but rather the calm silence of nature — like it's taking a deep breath in meditation.
Silently watching over every living being, guarding and nurturing — like a mother and child.
Somewhere far, time flows differently compared to the Old World.
It had been days, or maybe months, since Limbo's arrival in this world.
A long time has passed since his departure, but there's no sign or even word about him.
Did the divine being send him here, or are we lost, searching for him in the wrong place?
At least a divine being may throw sarcasm, but he will not do something like this...
Seems like our genius programmer has not awakened from his slumber.
His programming skill and knowledge seem a little far from awakening...
Then what will we do until then?
Let me think...
Haan...
Why don't we take a peek at the world where our protagonist's new journey will take place?
Let's begin with the world.
This world is known as the World of Death — 'Mrutyuloka'.
Where humans live.
Don't assume this world to be filled with undead and zombies by its name.
This world carries Magiculs, which help to perform and are an essential base for magic.
It flows like the lifeblood of existence.
It flows through everything — like trees, rivers, air, and water.
Even stones.
There's a old saying:
"Those who can feel and see Magiculs are destined for greatness... or madness."
Or both.
At a time.
Every child here undergoes an Awakening Ceremony at the age of 7.
That's when they know their aptitude for certain magic.
7 is the most mysterious number here — seven days in a week, seven moons in the sky, even seven types of magic found in this world.
Some say,
"At the age of 7, a soul remembers who it was... or who it is."
— an old saying of a monk.
There are six primary, with one variant type of magic that can be found.
But scholars mainly argue over the variant type endlessly.
Fire – represents strength, destruction, and raw emotion.
Water – healing, flow, but calm deadliness.
Air – speed and freedom.
Earth – endurance and brute strength.
Light – healing, clarity, and purity.
Dark – shadow and fear.
And lastly, the variant type —
Forest.
Unique to every user, some believe it is a living type of ability, which chooses its user and abilities according to the master.
Each person awakens a single ability, but in rare cases, some individuals are known as Dual-Wielders.
They acquire dual abilities — two different types of magic.
And those are destined to be legends... or disasters.
Dual affinity is like two beasts fighting for dominance over each other, and eventually, one eats the other — as the old saying goes.
But if someone can master both, they will be no less than beasts.
But is it even possible?
There are different races in this world,
each one with their own unique quirks and powers, as lands and egos.
Humans, Beastkin, Monkeys, Birds, Half-human Half-beasts, Demons, and Demigods — etc.
Each race is bound by the magic of their habitat, but some rise above by breaking these shackles.
They are the Hybrid Bloodline, born out of two different racial affinities or two magics — set by Nature.
Beyond Mrutyulok, in the upper realms, is the residency of Demigods — people call it Heaven or Swarglok.
Below Mrutyulok is the residency of Demons — known as the Abyss or Patallok.
Each fights over dominance and rule in Mrutyulok — the human plane.
But sometimes cracks in the world plane appear; from them, travelers, spirits, and beings from the upper and lower realms journey to Mrutyuloka.
Like our MC.
But not many of them return to where they came from
Let's change the scene,
The story now zooms in — through clouds, over a forest, crossing mountains — until we see a beautiful green valley, clouded by thin air.
In the middle of it lies a small village,
which sits quietly under the twin suns, surrounded by blue mist.
The air carries faint magic and the smell of nature — wild, yet alive.
And then... a scream.
Not the scary one,
but the one that brings new life into the world.
The new life has finally entered the world — will that life be kind or not?
We'll see as time passes...
Inside the small hut, an old woman holds a newborn baby.
His skin glows faintly.
He has a soft blue line running across his hand — it looks like a circuit — but soon, it fades.
"He's alive and healthy..."
But what were those lines? And what was that mark...?
The mother of the child whispers,
"Lines? Which lines?"
"What are you talking about?" said the old woman.
"The lines on the child's arm... but..."
"I didn't see any line..."
Only the mother of that child has seen them — or she is the only one who is able to see them.
The baby opened his eyes — deep silver, like code initializing.
And for a few seconds, a faint sound echoed...
[ System Booting... Core User has been detected. ]
[ The System can be used when the user meets the required condition. ]
And just like that,
Limbo, the man destined to debug the world itself, has been born... and reborn in another world.
Many of you might think he will appear with a grand entrance — like a hero riding a motorcycle or typing code the moment he arrives.
But this story will be different... and interesting.
He is currently drooling in his mother's arms, trying to process what "warm milk" is.
But don't you worry — he'll get there eventually.
That's what I'm here for...
You see, even this world and the old one both follow rules and logic — and Limbo is not ready yet.
Giving him the power to debug would be great...
But let him first taste the essence of magic power.
To him, magic is like visual code loops.
Mana flow? Like a network packet stream.
Spells? With them, he will try to debug later on.
But how will that be interesting?
Limbo currently holds the power to debug —
He can even debug now, but his brain is not ready...
