Sköll's bright red flames engulfed both me and the lich, but for me, it was as if I was being surrounded by air. The red flames danced cross my skin, but I felt nothing. Not even my clothes were burned.
The only person who was affected was the lich I held in place. He screamed and thrashed and called out "mom" a few times, but in the end, he was burned until only ashes remained.

The notification that popped up after I killed the lich was proof that he was really dead. Even though I couldn't get him to tell me why he told Mariah about Damian's weakness, I was still happy that I managed to get rid of him.
The next issue at hand was Damian. He was killing too many ghouls and Valkyries for me to ignore. I couldn't face him one on one, and honestly, I was lucky that he wasn't coming after me, but still, I needed to do something about him.
