We all gathered in my office when it was time to leave. The witch Ember had arrived, but this time she was in her true form instead of a projection.
"Here's the plan," she said, looking at each of us carefully. "My only job is to transport you to Purgatory. That's it. After you get there, you'll be on your own. Understood?"
"That's the plan." I answered. "We also don't want a witch telling them our every move."
Her smile twitched.
"Let's get on with this. I don't want to spend another minute here." Saying this, the witch began casting incantations in the form of a giant magic circle that appeared on the floor of the room.
"Transportation magic," Khalissi hummed beside me with a small smile on her face.
