Chapter 2 - Prelude

Every beginning is shaped by its surroundings or perhaps, by own selves. Some beginnings arrive with beauty, some with despair. Yet whether bright or dark, joy or sorrow, every beginning is fleeting, like a feeling that never stays for long.

Some say we should forget our past. Others, treasure the good memories. And some would give anything for the chance to go back and fix it. But pasts are like stars each one bound to us since birth, carrying their own stories until the end of time.

At the heart of the universe, a black hole breathes, surrounded by countless lights of distant stars. born, die, scatter, and gather once again. Even the stars themselves are not spared from history. Imagine a stone resting upon a field of grass. Someday, a boy may lift and throw it into the river, and it maybe..... lost forever. So too will a white dwarf collapse into nothing, leaving only silence in the endless dark. Yet given enough time, even the faintest fragments of dust and gas return to one another, sparking a new beginning.

So it is with humankind: the future forever pulls us..... into another cycle of life.

By the year 2070, the world had stepped beyond the very idea of the future. Life had become simple, almost idyllic; even the homeless could find roofs to shelter them. Civilization was advancing into a new era, guided by a mega cooperation whose ambition was to make dreams come true even the elderly no longer believed they would live to see.

ARCI. (Automotive Re-Construct and Innovation) their precious innovation would alter the course of human history forever. The old man called it RE-Source an energy that could be reborn, reused, and never exhausted. Which means "the power is eternal".

Its roots lay in the ashes of war. In the wake of the Second World War, with economies collapsing and nations desperate for stability, the United States, Soviet Union, Red Dragon, and five European states granted concessions to one corporation. Together, they entrusted ARCI with the future of mankind.

A.R.C.I. Power Resources

In 1939, they unveiled the first blueprint: a method to harvest and synthesize energy from nature itself, to be reshaped endlessly into electricity and fuel. RE-Source evolved into many forms clean coal that burned with 85% less pollution, compressed monox gas (or "canned gas," as the Soviets named it), and dynamic electricity.

By 1954, the world embraced RE-Source with fervor. New innovations followed: hydro-power, atomic energy, and at last, trans-oil an oil that could be burned twice, doubling the worth of a single barrel of crude. Yet even that miracle was fleeting; in twenty years, the earth's veins of oil would run dry.

Atomic power, too, was born of danger. It was forged from the same equations that built the hydrogen bombs. A single burst of radiation could erase millions, yet tamed, it became a beacon of possibility. In 1954, the world voted to harness it officially.

"Risk itself is the price of evolution. If we wield it wisely, risk becomes the vessel that carries humanity forward. Every drop of sweat shed by our people is a river one that will guide Noah's Ark, and all mankind, into a better tomorrow." -Theodore Vandran, The prior of ARCI

ARCI and the Dawn of a New Era

In 1978, ARCI joined hands with the NASE Project (National Astronomy and Space Exploration). That same year, we sent the satellite dish J.E.S.U.O (V.1) into Earth's orbit—a fragile gesture of ambition in an age when the world was fractured by the cold shadow of two irreconcilable superpowers.

By 1997, America achieved its long-cherished dream: the launch of a shuttle to explore Mars.

And then, in 2011, the unimaginable happened. Humanity bore witness to the first undeniable sign of intelligent life beyond Earth. They were beings of sapphire skin, their forms strikingly human yet touched by the alien. They reached out to us not with weapons, but with words—delicate, luminous phrases transmitted back in our own tongue:

"We, the Axians, are sincerely happy to share our thoughts with you."

It was a revelation that shook the very marrow of mankind's spirit. And in 2020, when astronauts set foot upon the red sands, they finally met the Axians face to face. From a distant galaxy they had come, bearing knowledges that defied our comprehension machines that could merge thought with conductive matter, making the command of vast engines as effortless as the flick of a finger. Yet, as wondrous as it was, the human mind proved incompatible with their gift.

Still, the Axians were eager to trade knowledge. This exchange marked the birth of a golden age. By 2030, humanity stood at the threshold of an era that seemed like myth given flesh. Together with Nikola Industries, ARCI developed a new breed of vehicles that no longer relied on wheels. They glided freely, untouched by road christened simply as "TheHover". Two years later, in 2032, an entirely new passageway was forged to serve them as "The 4th Highway."

But this was only the beginning. With the Axians technologies, We then unveiled the Repulsa Dome, an engineering marvel deployed upon the planet Venus. Spanning 24,000 km, it released waves that purified the choking greenhouse gases, clearing the skies of poison. And from this triumph came another: the first colony, Lyre, founded upon Venusian soil. What began as a handful of pioneers has since blossomed into a civilization growing, adapting, and reaching ever higher.

Now, as the year 2070 dawns, I find myself returning to a phrase spoken long ago by one of ARCI's earliest founders, Seán Lucessa:

"The Earth is like a tree. Neglect it, and it withers. Soil it with waste, and its shade becomes unwelcoming. But tend it with care and it becomes as comforting as the embrace of one you love."

For decades, ARCI has been that watchman. To many, we have become more than a company we are a vision, a promise, a beacon casting light across the darkened road ahead.

And so, standing on the threshold of 2070, we offer you not just a statement, but an invitation.

"Have faith, and step into the future together."
