Chapter 230 - Tyranitar, Aggron, Rhyperior

Three massive figures appeared on the battlefield. As they emerged, the entire ground shook, forcing the Pokémon belonging to Yakushimaru and his companions to look upward.

The one on the far right was encased in hard armor. Silver plates covered its head and face, with a sharp horn extending from the top. Its forehead featured two pairs of holes, with two long, pointed horns protruding from the front pair.

The one on the left was primarily black and orange-red, protected by orange-red guards. A silver-tipped horn sat atop its head, and beneath it was a massive, spiraling single horn. Both of its forearms featured deep, hollow holes.

The one in the center was tall and bore a striking resemblance to the monster Godzilla from a previous life. It was covered in an armor-like green shell. Several spikes of varying sizes protruded from the back of its head, neck, and shoulders, with a ring of smaller spikes at the tip of its tail. It had pairs of sharp teeth in both jaws and three-clawed hands and feet.

Eichi's pupils constricted in absolute shock.

That's an Aggron, a Rhyperior, and a Tyranitar!!!

Good grief, this is too much! It's practically blinding.

The talent grade of all three Pokémon was Outstanding, and their trainer ranks were all Elite Four. The Tyranitar in the center, in particular, already possessed the strength of a peak Elite Four rank.

Tetsu and the others were equally stunned. These were Teacher Joylin's Pokémon. Someone please tell me this is a joke; Teacher Joylin's personality doesn't match these three at all.

The three Pokémon roared at the sky, casting contemptuous glances at the dozen or so opposing Pokémon. They radiated an incredible aura, their oppressive pressure intensifying as they focused entirely on Yakushimaru and his group.

Teacher Joylin dropped her usual gentle demeanor. "You dared to kidnap my students... Unforgivable," she said.

Faced with these three Pokémon and the crushing pressure they emitted, the three men across from her felt a surge of fear.

Yakushimaru shouted with false bravado, "What are you afraid of? We have sixteen Pokémon, and she only has three. What's there to fear?"

"Exactly! What's the worry? Attack together!" Kawai added.

"Everyone, go at once!" Ueno ordered.

"Houndoom, Flamethrower!"

"Rhydon, Hyper Beam!"

"Magneton, Thunder!"

"Arbok, Poison Sting!"

"Magcargo, Flamethrower!"

"Feraligatr, Hydro Pump!"

"Piloswine, use Ice Beam!"

Sixteen Pokémon attacked Teacher Joylin's three Pokémon simultaneously. Lightning, fire, water pillars, poison needles, and energy beams erupted from them all at once. It was a magnificent, chaotic spectacle.

Joylin watched with disdain. "Child's play," she said.

"Tyranitar, Aggron, Rhyperior, it's your turn."

"Tyranitar, Hyper Beam!"

"Rhyperior, Hyper Beam!"

"Aggron, Flash Cannon!"

The three Pokémon began to unleash their moves. Tyranitar gathered energy in its mouth and fired a violent, light-colored beam of energy that emitted a dazzling glow. Rhyperior did the same. Aggron gathered a silvery-white sphere of energy in its mouth, which transformed into a massive beam of light as it was launched.

The three energy pillars collided with the dozen or so incoming moves.

Bang! Bang!

Boom!

The collision generated a massive explosion, producing a blinding light that forced Eichi and the others to shield their eyes. The resulting shockwave sent all sixteen opposing Pokémon flying.

Thud, thud, thud.

They slammed into the cavern walls, causing dense networks of cracks to spiderweb across the stone. A few of the flying Pokémon crashed into Yakushimaru, Kawai, and Ueno.

"Hey, wait! No!"

"Aaaaah!"

The three captains were carried along by the impact and smashed into the wall before falling unconscious. They collapsed to the ground, losing their ability to battle instantly. The energy collision had been far too intense; the sheer counter-vibration of the shockwave was more than they could handle. Seeing the enemies defeated, the three Pokémon snorted in contempt.

A bunch of trash. Not a single one could actually fight.

The explosion was so massive that most people in the vicinity noticed. Director Yanagi naturally saw it too. When he spotted Teacher Joylin's Aggron, Rhyperior, and Tyranitar, he was also stunned.

When did Joylin get those three? Could they be from her family? Regardless, it's a good thing she has them, or we'd be in trouble.

With Teacher Joylin protecting the students, there shouldn't be any more problems. Now, he no longer had to hold back. With his strength, he would have defeated Hiraoka long ago if he hadn't been worried about stalling for time.

Hiraoka, opposite him, had obviously seen what happened as well. His face turned grim, and he looked as though he wanted to head over there.

Director Yanagi had Flygon block his path and laughed. "Hiraoka, where do you think you're going? Your opponent is me!"

"You should worry about yourself. I'm telling you, you're finished!"

"Everyone, release your full power!"

The power and moves of all his Pokémon below jumped significantly. Hiraoka's Pokémon were caught off guard. His expression turned ugly as he began to consider retreating.

Because the three Pokémon had shielded them from the shockwave, Eichi's group was completely unharmed. Seeing all the enemies defeated, Teacher Joylin gave a satisfied smile. She turned around to see everyone behind her wearing expressions of utter shock.

Eichi was the first to react. "Teacher Joylin, you're amazing!"

"Yeah, Teacher Joylin, you're incredible! You're so cool!" Tetsu shouted.

"Teacher Joylin, you're my idol!"

Hearing their praise, Teacher Joylin instantly reverted to her usual self. "I'm just glad everyone is safe. Let's get out of here first," she said shyly.

"Aggron, Rhyperior, Tyranitar, clear the way ahead."

"Arcanine, let's go."

The Arcanine she was riding moved immediately. The three Pokémon in front were massive; every step they took caused a slight tremor in the ground.

Thud, thud, thud.

Once they left the hall, the number of Team Rocket members in the tunnels decreased significantly. However, they weren't entirely gone. Any they encountered were dealt with by a single Hyper Beam from Tyranitar. Some Team Rocket members saw the three great beasts approaching and fled without a second thought.

Eichi and the others quickly exited the cave. Outside was a scene of total chaos as well, with battles raging everywhere—mostly between the police and Team Rocket. The combatants were fierce, engaging immediately without any thought of retreat.

As soon as Eichi's group emerged, Sato, Konan, and Kelly hurried over.
