"Who am I talking to?" Andrew immediately asked, and the lady fell silent for a second.
"Who do you think?" She asked after some time.
Andrew paused.
"Stop talking in circles and get to the point," Andrew's expression darkened.
He didn't hear anything for some time and pulled the phone up to his face.
The call was indeed going. Then why was she not saying anything?
He was about to speak when the woman on the other end chuckled softly.
"You are such a chicken. I just asked you whether you knew Elara. Of course, I read your file and know everything. Wait for my call," The woman on the other end said before the call ended.
Andrew looked at the number, a heavy feeling in his heart.
It was already hard to keep Elara out of his thoughts and things, and people around him weren't helping either.
