"Are you sure you want to go? I mean, you know how this has turned against you," Antonio asked Elara, and the girl pursed her lips.
That was the exact reason why she needed to go there, to see if anything severe happened to Beatrice.
"I know. People are going to change the narrative of what happened and assume I pushed her," Elara massaged her forehead in annoyance as they drove towards the city hospital where Beatrice was taken to.
She honestly didn't want to come herself, but Producer Li, who knew about her identity, suggested she should go. This will improve her image slightly.
"And you didn't push her for real, right?" Antonio asked as he looked at her through the rearview mirror.
Elara raised her head and arched her brows at the man. Was he seriously asking her that? Out of everyone, she at least hoped her people would be on her side.
