"What is going through your head, Elara?" Justin asked as he saw the girl sitting behind the computer, deep in thought.
Elara, who was thinking about how her father reacted to the divorce and was glad she left the man after all, couldn't help but remember how worried he looked when he heard about Sean's death and how his father had been accusing her.
Her father was worried. And it was a natural reaction from any parent. The way that man was adamant on sending her to prison, it wouldn't be long before he ends up creating false evidence against her.
And if that happened, to prove her innocence, she would've had to reveal other things to the world and to her family about what he wanted to do, and if that happened, things would get really messy.
Thus, it was better to deal with that stuff before it blew out of proportion.
"Sean's death," Elara said after some time.
