Trying to sleep better tonight... but no use.

Even my clothes hanging on the hanger looked like a ghost.

"Ughh! Please don't kill me first, ghost! If you have to kill someone, then kill the criminals, not me!!" I whispered into the darkness.

With my scared little heart and endless God prayers, I somehow managed to fall asleep around 2 A.M.Someone was coming.

Footsteps. Clack... clack... clack...

The sound grew clearer and clearer. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. I knew it was a dream—but I couldn't wake up.

Then—mmm-hhh—a deep, creepy chuckle brushed against my ear.

My vision went blurry. I was walking somewhere... deeper... darker. A red dim light glowed ahead.

When I reached the room, I saw flesh on the table. Amara sat on a bench, tied with rods. Lyra, Lyric, and Lucas were beside her—ropes cutting into their arms. Thick red marks circled their skin, tightening, pressing deeper… deeper… almost into their veins.

Amara's breathing was fast. Too fast.

And then—another chuckle. A voice, low and broken, whispered right into my ear—

"Run~"

My body moved on its own. I was running—fast, too fast. I wanted to scream, to cry, to wake up—but nothing worked.

The hallway stretched forever. Blood splashed on the walls. Thick, warm, dripping. Some of it hit me.

Far behind, I heard Amara's voice scream—but I couldn't look back.

I tripped over something. My hand landed on… a hand. Cold. Wet. Dead.

I looked up. Someone was standing in front of me.

A figure wearing a wolf mask—its fur looked too real, like it was once part of something alive.

The voice crawled out of the mask, deep and low—

"Cooome… to me… I'll make you… so happy… happy enough to scream… forever." "One cut… just one… and everything will end… perfectly."

I started trembling, my heart pounding.

Then I felt someone behind me—tugging gently at my top.

A soft whimper. Draven's voice, shaking but small—

"Hey, topper... my witch... please do something. I can't breathe."

Uhh, even here he's annoying, I groaned in my head.

But then—his chest pressed against my back. Warm. Solid. Comforting. Not scary. Somehow, it made my heart flutter. His hands clutched my top, soaked with blood, but I couldn't help feeling… safe.

"L-let's try to get out," I whispered.

The figure tilted its head. Its voice broke apart, twisting my name—

"Try… and die… E… L… I… N… A…" "Elina. Elina. Elina."

It said my name again and again—like a madman.

Then it bent down and bit into a chunk of raw meat. Squelch… cleech… The sound made my skin crawl. The flesh shifted, turning human.

Without thinking, Draven and I started running. Our hands interlocked. There was a light ahead—bright, warm—but no matter how fast we ran, we never reached it.

Our breaths grew louder, heavier. Huff… huff…

And then—something grabbed Draven.

"No! No, no, no!!" I screamed.

He's not even that close to me, just a troublemaker. But still—I want to save him. Why? He's not special, right? Of course he's not. I—I don't like him at all. Not at all.

A voice whispered, cruel and slow—

"You can't save anyone… E…L…I…N…A…"

The figure's face appeared again—half burned, with worms crawling through its eyes. It raised something sharp.

Pain sliced my shoulder—just a small cut—

And I jolted awake.

"Huff… huff… what the hell was that?!"

I pressed my hand to my shoulder. No blood. Just sweat.

"That dream was too creepy. Even that stupid buffalo-faced thing—ugh!"

I glanced at the clock. 4:30 A.M. Way too early.

I knocked on my parents' room. "Mumma… I wanna sleep in your room today. I had bad dreams…"

My mom yawned. "That's why I told you to stop watching so many horror movies and crime shows, Elina."

I crawled into her arms, finally feeling safe. And Draven's warm presence from the dream still made me shiver a little… in a good way.

For now, the nightmare faded away.
