Chapter 93: Training

One of the greatest advantages of being a transmigrator was the knowledge Dudley carried with him into this world. He understood many things that ordinary wizards could only dream of. In addition, he also had a gamer system that allowed him to do what ordinary wizards could never accomplish, such as flying.

He was the only wizard who could fly naturally. Others in this world required magical items or transfigured body parts, such as forming a new wings, to take to the skies. Even Voldemort had to enchant his robes in order to fly, but Dudley needed no such assistance. He soared freely, effortlessly, defying the very rules of magic.

In the movies, Voldemort was portrayed as stronger than his book counterpart, flying without the aid of enchanted objects. But in this book version of events, Dudley stood alone as the only wizard truly capable of flight.

When it came to Horcruxes, Dudley knowledge also far surpassed Voldemort.

In the original story, Voldemort himself had never truly grasped the full nature of this foul branch of magic. Dudley, however, thanks to the game system, understood much more than the Dark Lord ever did.

The game system gave him an almost unfair advantage. Ordinary potioneers required months or even years of trial and error, with countless failures, before they could create a potion safe enough to drink. Dudley, on the other hand, could skip all of that. The moment he successfully brewed something, even if the batch are failure, the system rewarded him for creating a "new" potion.

For example, when he attempted to brew a beauty potion, the results were disastrous, twenty-four defective products and only one success. Yet the system still rewarded him for each potion.

He still remember, one of the notification he received.

[Congratulations, host, for creating a Metal Potion! This body can change the skin to become hard and shiny like steel.]

Perhaps it was a glitch, but every product, even the failed ones, earned him rewards.

Because of this, he could hand his parents potions like Beauty Elixirs or Weight Loss Draughts without the slightest risk. That fact alone placed him on a level far beyond even the most talented potion masters of the age.

But potions were not the only one part of his progress. Dudley trained tirelessly in spellcasting and even developed new spells of his own. With the aid of the game system, he learned at a terrifying speed, his skills and knowledge rising to a whole new level. Though he did not realize it yet, he had already surpassed Severus Snape in power.

Returning to the subject of Horcruxes, the game system explained the truth a Horcrux was not truly a vessel of the soul but rather a protective anchor. It was among the darkest of all dark magics. Any attack, be it a Killing Curse, a slicing hex, or even a powerful destruction spell, would be redirected away from Voldemort and absorbed by the Horcrux instead. As long as even one Horcrux remained intact, such spells would not succeed in killing him.

Even worse, if by some rare chance Voldemort body was completely destroyed. What was shattered was not his true body but merely an empty shell.

The drawback, however, was severe. When the shell was destroyed, the Horcrux wizard like him would be left extremely weakened, their magic drained to pitiful levels, forcing them into a dependent state until someone else helped them recover. That was why Voldemort had once reduced himself to little more than a wraith, a smoke-like face in the darkness, his power nearly gone.

---Training---

Even though Dudley had trained them before, at that time he was not yet a student of Hogwarts. He had only relied on the fragments of memories he possessed, memories that came from another timeline and from the body. Back then, his knowledge was incomplete. Now, things were different. Not only did he carry those memories with him, but he also had gained far more knowledge compared to before. With Dumbledore knowledge absorbed into his mind, his ability had leapt to another level. That was why, on the very next day, Dudley gathered all of them together for another round of training.

This time, Sirius joined as well. Unlike Amelia Bones, who was constantly burdened with her responsibilities and paperwork at the Ministry, Sirius had more freedom. As a History Professor at Hogwarts, he also got another Holiday alongside Harry and Dudley.

"Sirius, are you sure you want to join us?" Dudley asked with a raised brow.

"Dudley, are you underestimating me?" Sirius shot back immediately.

"Yes, I am underestimating you," Dudley replied without hesitation, clearly waiting to see Sirius reaction.

The others around them chuckled quietly, finding amusement in their banter.

"Don't you know that I am always serious?" Sirius said, his tone filled with mock.

"Oh, I almost forgot," Dudley smirked. "Your name is Serious Sirius."

Both of them burst out laughing.

"Alright, Sirius. If you want to join us, I have no problem with that," Dudley said at last.

Harry, Susan, and Sirius were placed in the middle of the practice field inside his space briefcase, where they faced rune dolls enchanted to attack at set intervals. Every five seconds, the dolls launched a barrage of spells, forcing the trio to rely on agility and quick reactions. At the moment, thirty rune dolls surrounded them, firing relentlessly. Dodging, weaving, and rolling on the ground, Harry and Susan tried to keep up while Sirius tested his own sharp reflexes.

Meanwhile, the house-elves received an entirely different type of training. Dudley had decided that they would learn how to use guns. Even Kreacher, was forced to handle learn shoot from gun. The logic was simple, most Death Eaters would hardly pay any attention to house-elves, dismissing them as weak or harmless. That ignorance would become a weakness for them.

Dobby in particular showed surprising enthusiasm. Dudley could not help but joke to himself, Dobby with a gun means goodbye to Death Eaters.

The reason Dudley teach them how to use gun, because according to novel, Amelia Bones would be murdered in her own home by Voldemort himself. By arming the elves and preparing them in advance, he believed that the chances of saving Amelia were far higher. If the Death Eaters underestimated house-elves, then Dudley would make sure they paid for that mistake.
