Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 The Noisy Guild

In the bright Guild Hall, Ankh looked at the lavish meat feast on the table and couldn't help but swallow.

Erza smiled as she brought over a few dishes, explaining, "Food and lodging for new members are free, but only temporarily."

Ankh nodded, laboriously spearing a piece of beef with his fork and saying, "Don't worry, I'll take a job and earn money right away."

Erza put her hands on her hips in satisfaction, adding like a little adult, "If a request is too difficult, you can find people to team up with."

Fairy Tail, and all other legitimate guilds, operate in much the same way.

Various regions make requests to the Guild Alliance, offering remuneration, and then all requests are distributed to the guilds under its banner, allowing the Mages of those guilds to accept requests and strive for profit.

The stronger the Mage, the better the job he takes, and of course, the higher the reward.

A top Mage, perhaps by completing just one dangerous request, could earn enough to live comfortably for half his life.

Therefore, although being a Mage in this world is a high-risk profession, it is also a high-income one.

Titan Gravity Magic had already been getting Started, and his body was being systematically trained; Ankh would be able to accept jobs before too long.

Ankh was chatting idly with Erza when suddenly a loud shout came from the doorway:

"Erza, let's duel!"

As the words rang out, a fiery fireball rolled out from the doorway, aggressively charging towards Erza.

Ankh raised an eyebrow, and Erza, sitting opposite him, picked up a tissue, slowly wiped her hands, and said, "Please excuse me for a moment."

With that, Erza got up from her seat, her gaze sharp as she stared at the fiercely burning Natsu, and a dark pink magic circle suddenly lit up on her hand.

"Requip."

The magic circle spun and glowed, and a huge iron mace appeared out of nowhere in Erza's hand.

Seeing this, Natsu, whose fists were spewing flames and whose face was full of defiance, immediately froze.

"It's over, I'm BBQ'd… Bang!"

As expected, Natsu, covered in flames, was sent flying like a meteor by Erza's mace, directly out of the Guild Hall's door and disappearing into the sky.

The guild members, who had just been drinking boisterously, fell silent spontaneously after witnessing Natsu's miserable state.

"What strength."

Ankh, with deadpan eyes, silently watched Natsu fly away and commented.

"Of course, Erza is our guild's super genius; she's only thirteen!"

Ankh sighed, rubbing his forehead. Can kids in this world, at thirteen, really hit people like a ball and send them flying? Wait, who was just talking to me?

Ankh turned his head and saw a delicate, wheat-skinned girl, leaning against a chair with a bright smile, staring intently at him.

Young, short-haired Cana

"You're so pretty, Anke sis!"

Ankh's fists suddenly clenched, his blood-red eyes nearly failing to conceal his murderous intent, and he growled in a low voice, "I'm a man!"

"Also, my name is Ankh, not Anke!"

The girl, startled by Ankh's aura, lowered her head and meekly said, "Alright."

With that, the girl couldn't help but glance at Ankh again.

Long eyelashes, rosy lips, soft facial features, and... those deep red eyes are truly super alluring!

The girl, as if entranced, cupped her face, giggling foolishly as she stared at Ankh's face.

Just as Ankh was about to lose his patience and make a move, the girl's head was suddenly tapped.

Erza lightly tapped her head, gently scolding, "Don't be so rude, Cana!"

Cana covered her head and pouted, grumbling unhappily.

Ankh looked thoughtfully at the two bickering girls. He remembered that Cana in the original story was apparently a drunkard, right?

Would this quirky little girl really turn into that?

"Speaking of which, Ankh brother, you also use magic, right? What kind is it?"

Cana, being quite familiar, sat next to Ankh and asked.

As long as they weren't enemies, it wasn't something to be secretive about for fellow guild members to tell each other about their magic, as living together day in and day out meant nothing could truly be hidden.

Ankh hesitated for a moment, and Seram's voice timely sounded in his mind:

"Just say it's a special kind of Gravity Magic, as Titan Gravity Magic doesn't belong to this world, don't cause trouble."

"Gravity Magic."

Erza and Cana exclaimed, and Cana looked at Ankh, unable to help but say, "That's very powerful magic!"

Ankh was stunned. Was normal Gravity Magic really that famous?

Erza, seeing that Ankh seemed confused, explained, "As far as I know, Gravity Magic is very rare."

"Normal Gravity Magic can only apply force very stiffly, and the direction of gravity is fixed; many factors cannot be changed."

"But if the gravity controlled becomes stronger and stronger, or more and more free, then the level of this magic will be higher, even becoming a Lost Magic."

Ankh secretly gasped. That powerful?

If according to Seram and Titan Gravity's description, his magic should be considered top-tier in this world.

Cana asked curiously, "So... what level is Ankh brother's Gravity Magic?"

Ankh was silent for a moment, then extended his hand, bringing his index and middle fingers together, and silently pointed at Cana.

Huh?

Cana blinked her big eyes, and suddenly found her body becoming incredibly light, slowly floating into the air.

Ankh pointed at Cana, manipulating her like a puppet, making her float around in the air, which made Cana laugh with joy.

Erza glanced at Cana floating in the air, then at Ankh pointing at Cana, and pondered.

This was Ankh's Gravity Magic? It was indeed as she thought, very high level.

Moreover, when he used his magic, no magic circle even appeared, which meant that Ankh's move was simply effortless, not using his full power.

The more Erza thought, the more she felt a long-lost sense of pressure.

Ankh's control over magic was so skilled; he must be no less capable than herself.

"Fly! Ankh brother, fly!"

Cana, finding it quite novel, struck poses in the hall, flying around gracefully, leaving a string of bell-like laughter.

The adult Mages in the guild were infected by the laughter, chuckling and teasing Cana, whom they regarded as a junior.

Ankh lowered his eyebrows, picked up his drink, and took a small sip.

It was a normal action, but the charm he exuded in his every move made everyone swallow simultaneously.

Although Ankh was a boy, his appearance was incredibly beautiful; who knew which girl would benefit from it in the future... Just as Ankh was using gravity to control Cana, Erza smiled from the side and said, "Ankh is also a member of the guild now, so you need to have a crest engraved on you too."
