Chapter 272 - The Servant Gun - Jane Powers, turn 272

Visit Maxine in her laboratory to discuss implementing the triple-verification system she's developing to prevent future miscommunications and to go over what caused it

You make your way down to Maxine's laboratory, located in the expansive underground complex beneath Victoria's mansion. The reinforced doors slide open automatically as your biometrics are recognized, revealing the gleaming high-tech facility where your scientific girlfriend conducts her research.

Maxine is hunched over a holographic display, her lab coat partially unbuttoned to reveal her enhanced cleavage as she manipulates complex diagrams with practiced precision. Her auburn hair is tied back in a practical ponytail, though a few strands have escaped to frame her face. When she notices your entrance, her expression brightens immediately.

"Jane! I was just finalizing the triple-verification system," she says, gesturing you closer to the display. "I wanted to have something concrete to show you this morning."

You approach the workstation, your seven-and-a-half-foot frame towering over Maxine's more modest height. The holographic display shows an intricate flowchart of command protocols spreading throughout the mansion's various collectives.

"So what exactly happened with Yasaka and the nurses?" you ask, studying the diagram. "How did my explicit instructions get lost in translation?"

Maxine sighs, adjusting her glasses. "I've conducted a thorough investigation. The root cause was actually quite interesting from a scientific perspective, though frustrating in practice." She expands a section of the hologram. "When the conditional transformation protocols were uploaded for the hospital transformation, they included default settings that weren't properly overridden by your specialized instructions."

"Default settings?" you question, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes. The baseline transformation protocol assumes maximum efficiency deployment of all available resources," Maxine explains, highlighting specific nodes in the diagram. "Since Yasaka and the Nurse Collective were technically part of the medical transformation infrastructure, the system automatically assigned them to hospital duty without checking your verbal overrides."

"So it was a programming issue, not deliberate disobedience," you conclude.

Maxine nods. "Exactly. But I've developed a solution." She switches to a new diagram showing three distinct verification layers. "First, all verbal instructions will now be transcribed and categorized by Cortana in real-time, with priority flags for deployment limitations and boundaries."

She points to the second layer. "Next, any collective deployment will require explicit verification against these instruction archives before activation. If there's any conflict, the system halts and requests clarification."

"And the third verification?" you ask, impressed by the thoroughness so far.

"That's where it gets interesting," Maxine says, her eyes lighting up with scientific enthusiasm. "I've developed a neural feedback loop that will temporarily link the collective consciousnesses to your intention network. For approximately 3.7 seconds before any major deployment, they'll directly experience your intended outcome, eliminating any possibility of misinterpretation."

You place a hand on Maxine's shoulder, feeling the tension in her muscles. "You've been working on this all night, haven't you?"

"I felt terrible about the data contamination," she admits, leaning into your touch. "This system will ensure 99.9997% accuracy in instruction interpretation."

"What about the remaining 0.0003%?" you tease, sliding your hand down to cup one of her enhanced breasts through her lab coat.

Maxine's breath catches. "That's... ah... the margin for quantum uncertainty. Can't eliminate it entirely."

"Well, I'm impressed with your solution," you say, turning her to face you fully. "When can you implement it?"

"It's ready now," she responds, her voice growing husky as your fingers begin undoing the remaining buttons on her lab coat. "Just needs your authorization to activate across all collectives."

"Consider it authorized," you murmur, pushing the lab coat off her shoulders to reveal she's wearing nothing underneath. "Now, I think my brilliant girlfriend deserves a reward for solving this problem so efficiently."

Maxine's scientific demeanor melts away as you lift her onto the nearby workbench, her legs wrapping around your waist eagerly. "I was hoping you'd say that, Mistress," she whispers against your lips.
