Chapter 1 - Milf Conquest System

‎Oh, life?

‎It is dreadful, beyond comparison to anything. Most would call it hell, yet even that realm is not as wretched as this world, especially when one is surrounded by demons disguised in human skin, and one of them happens to be your boss.

‎Jason stood behind the cash desk, working his part-time job as a sales assistant in a modest department store. The only reason he endured this shift from seven in the evening until eleven was to pay his tuition fees. Perhaps it was also because he rarely had any free time to himself that he remained a virgin, with no girlfriend to speak of.

‎In short, his life was as dull as a lone turtle's slow crawl along the ocean shore. He wore a deep scowl as he watched the latest news report detailing the rise in youth unemployment.

‎This issue had persisted for generations, growing steadily worse with each passing one. To be honest, Jason was fortunate to have secured even this part-time position, though his pay barely reached forty dollars for a four-hour shift each day. To make matters worse, his boss was a shameless man who spent more time in the beds of other men's wives and daughters than managing the store. Still, Jason took on extra jobs whenever he could, and the constant strain was beginning to wear him down.

‎He picked up the remote beside the register and switched off the television the moment the news anchor began repeating the same weary statistics on unemployment. Setting the remote aside, he adjusted his name tag, which was starting to peel at the edges.

‎Moments later, the door swung open and a customer entered. Jason immediately straightened his posture and assumed the neutral expression he reserved for work.

‎With a polite and measured tone, he greeted:

‎"Good evening, sir."

‎The customer gave a brief nod and wandered silently through the aisles. Jason watched him for a few seconds before turning his attention back to the register. Several minutes later, the man returned to the counter with a small collection of items: two body sprays, a box of protein bars, and a cheap wristwatch.

‎Jason began scanning them in silence, his movements automatic from habit. Suddenly, the customer leaned slightly over the counter with a faint smile.

‎"Working late, huh?" he asked casually.

‎"That's my everyday routine," Jason replied flatly as he continued printing the receipt without glancing up.

‎The man gave a quiet chuckle.

‎"That must be rough. You ever think about doing something else? I mean, you're young. You could be out meeting people instead of stuck here."

‎Jason handed him the bag as he replied calmly:

‎"Sure, I'll get right on that after my next twelve-hour shift."

‎The man laughed again, clearly entertained by his own voice.

‎"No, seriously. You should live a little. I bet you haven't even had a girlfriend yet, right? Girls don't exactly go for the guy behind the counter."

‎Jason looked up at him, devoid of emotions.

‎"Probably not. But at least I don't have to buy two cans of body spray every week to convince them I exist."

‎The man's smile wavered, irritation flickering across his face.

‎With a short, forced laugh, he tried to recover.

‎"You sound jealous. Bet you wouldn't know what to do if a girl actually said yes to you."

‎Jason didn't even blink.

‎"Maybe," he said coolly. "But judging from what you're buying, you don't wait for a yes anymore. You just light a candle, spray yourself twice, and talk to your reflection."

‎The man froze mid-breath, his mouth half open, caught between shock and embarrassment.

‎Unwilling to indulge the customer any further, Jason tore the receipt from the register and placed it neatly upon the counter.

‎"Your total comes to thirty-two dollars and fifty cents," he announced evenly, his composure unshaken as though their exchange had never occurred.

‎The man paid in silence, seized the bag with a stiff motion, and strode out without a single word. Jason pressed the button to open the till and began arranging the notes with quiet precision.

‎As the door swung shut behind the departing customer, Jason murmured under his breath:

‎"Exemplary customer service at its finest."

‎He cast a fleeting glance at the darkened television before retrieving the remote once more and restoring the screen to life, returning to his monotonous routine without further thought.

‎'Jason, enjoy the day...'

‎***

‎By eleven o'clock, as usual, Jason left the department store just as his employer returned, drunk and muttering irritably, with yet another woman accompanying him home. From the man's pitiful state alone, Jason decided it was wiser to leave before anything foolish occurred again.

‎To be fair, he had never once seen the old man's family, even though his employer was nearing his late sixties. Despite his age, the man remained remarkably vigorous in his pursuits with women. Perhaps, however, the women in the area were simply too willing to entertain him, lured by his careless spending and the ownership of the department store.

‎It had become common for them to walk in and take whatever they pleased, leaving the bill for him to cover.

‎Jason yawned and covered his mouth with one hand, the other resting in his pocket. He stretched his back slightly while waiting at the crossing for the pedestrian light to turn green. The street was silent, and as usual, he was the only person upon the road.

‎Once it turned green, he proceeded to cross the road quietly.

‎Out of the blue, he heard the sound of a car horn blaring furiously and speeding towards him.

‎'Are you bloody kidding me!? Where did this bastard come from!?' Jason tried to veer off the road, but being already in the middle, it was too late.

‎The next moment, his body was flung into the air, crashing hard onto the ground and rolling until it came to a stop. He wasn't even granted a moment's thought of regret or anything at all as his eyes went blank and his own blood pooled around his head...

‎...A wretched end it was.

‎***

‎Jason suddenly jolted upright, his eyes snapping open as his body slipped from the narrow bed. He struck the cold floor headfirst and winced, clutching the back of his skull.

‎"Ouch. What the hell happened?" he muttered hoarsely.

‎He remained still for a moment before turning his gaze towards the window. Brilliant sunlight streamed through thin, pale curtains that drifted softly in the breeze. The light was far too harsh for his half-awake eyes, so he squinted and raised a hand to shield them.

‎Once his vision adjusted, he realised that nothing in the room appeared familiar. The walls were painted a dull cream shade, and in the corner stood a wooden wardrobe with its doors half open, revealing neatly folded clothes that certainly weren't his. Beside the bed sat a small wooden table with a glass of water, a folded towel, and a metal tray carrying what looked like medical instruments.

‎Jason pushed himself up slowly, his head still throbbing from both the fall and the hazy fog clouding his thoughts. The mattress behind him was thin and uneven, and the cold tiles beneath him pressed against his palms.

‎He ran a hand through his hair and tried to recall what had happened. The last thing he remembered was stepping off the curb near his workplace, headlights blazing across his vision, and the screech of tyres cutting through the night.

‎After that, there was nothing.

‎His eyes drifted towards the wooden door.

‎'Oh fuck. Where am I? I'm certain I used to live in a prison. This room is… rather luxurious.'

‎Jason rose carefully to his feet, steadying himself. His body did not feel broken, though a dull ache pulsed through his ribs. His clothes had been changed as well. He now wore a plain white shirt and loose trousers, completely unlike what he had on before.

‎He frowned, surveying the room again, this time more deliberately. A chair sat near the far wall with a folded blanket on it. On the wall opposite the bed hung a small, old-fashioned clock that ticked quietly.

‎He took a deep breath, then muttered under his breath:

‎"Yeah, this definitely isn't my apartment."

‎His eyes lingered on the door again, and he started moving towards it slowly as he tried to piece together what had happened and where exactly he was.

‎Opening the door, the first thing his eyes landed on was a woman standing in front of it with her hands on her hips. She had a frown on her face. However, Jason wasn't even interested in that.

‎His eyes wandered over her figure.

‎She... she was undeniably attractive. The woman possessed full, shapely breasts that nearly brushed against him and a graceful curve that accentuated her generous hips. To complete the image, she wore a short piece of lingerie that revealed even more of her enticing body and pale skin. Her face, delicately diamond-shaped, framed by long blonde hair, gave her an almost divine allure.

‎Her frown only deepened the longer he stayed silent, his gaze still lingering on her with desire.

‎"Are you still sleeping, you buckle head?" she snapped with irritation evident in her voice.

‎Without warning, a surge of memories flooded his mind, and a blue screen flickered into view at the corner of his eyes.
