Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: Ruined, Almost at the Finish Line!

At first, Tsunade was still a bit stiff.

But soon she turned very proactive—more proactive than Uchiha Yorin, even.

Not only did she pull him hard into her arms, she flipped him and pinned him to the wall.

A sweet scent wrapped around Yorin, making his whole body go soft—except one part.

If someone who didn't know better walked in right then, they'd probably think Tsunade was an old cow eating tender grass—drunk and slipping into Yorin's room for a little "hey-hey-hey."

Which is why, when the kiss ended and she saw Yorin's half-smiling face, Tsunade actually blushed—rare for her.

The awkwardness spread between them—well, mostly for Tsunade; Yorin couldn't care less.

He barely noticed the system ding—quest complete, reward issued.

Even though the Senju constitution made him feel his physical stats spike like crazy, Tsunade right in front of him was still a lot more interesting.

So how do you clear awkward air?

Simple: do it again.

Up the count until habit takes over—then it'll be all giggles and grins.

By then it'll be time to… take the next step.

Tsunade: "Hold on—you little—what are you trying to—"

Halfway through, her lips were stolen again. In a dizzy rush, Uchiha Yorin seized the initiative once more.

Damn.

Feels so good.

Feels like her tongue is melting.

Like her brain is dissolving.

Like she's turning into a happy little idiot.

Just like that—overbearing and unreasonable—Uchiha Yorin burned his image into the blonde beauty's mind.

Seeing her shy, resisting-but-not-really look, Yorin knew: this woman—the face of Naruto—was his now.

Sakura? What face? The real poster girl is Lady Tsunade.

"What are you doing—has your brain shorted out?"

After the second kiss, Tsunade managed, through blazing cheeks and boneless softness, to say as much.

After the third, her brain had melted altogether. Her body was jelly.

That intense greenness, the shyness—and the flood of happiness that came with it.

That feeling made her think she'd found her youth again.

This was what first love felt like.

Weird, sure—but Tsunade had to admit it: she was in love.

"But what about next? If that guy tries to go further, how do I say no? If I agree too fast, will he think I'm easy?

"If I refuse softly, he'll just happily push more. If I refuse too hard, will he get mad and ignore me from now on?"

Tsunade spiraled, not knowing what to do.

Thank goodness, an explosive BOOM roared from down the hall—rescuing her.

Along with a shout from Mei Terumi: "Someone! Help!"

Hearing it, Yorin and Tsunade snapped back. Make-outs are great—but letting Mei get GG'd because of them would be ridiculous.

Tsunade let out a very big breath of relief. Outwardly she put on a furious scowl and barked:

"Damn it—Mist hussy ruined my moment!"

Anyone who didn't know would think she'd been the one teasing a naïve boy just now—not the other way around.

Either way, the two sprinted for Mei's room.

On the way, a torrent of fire and water slammed together, and Yorin's cozy villa collapsed without suspense.

Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work vs Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!

In a blink, his gentle little love nest was a pile of rubble.

His face turned dark instantly—but the "harem Sannin" regrouped, and the enemy revealed himself.

A black-haired, green-eyed terror—bare torso stitched with seam-like scars.

A broken-bottom mask hid half his face; his forehead protector had a gouged, downward-facing arrow.

The look was unmistakable. Yorin recognized him at once.

The former No. 1 killer of Takigakure, Naruto's upgrade fodder, Akatsuki's undying duo and treasurer, a lifelong nemesis of the First Hokage, the immortal on the battlefield—Kakuzu.

Fans like to joke he once threw a shuriken from 800 miles away and "therefore fought Hashirama one-on-one." Jokes are jokes—take him lightly and you'll pay dearly.

A toolbox of powerful jutsu, strong attributes, a veteran Kage's battle sense and experience—

And most importantly, his secret technique Earth Grudge Fear—an undead body with absurd vitality, regeneration, rubbery defense like Soft Physique Mod—and even some healing.

Even among Kage-class, this guy's top tier—well-rounded top tier.

"Tch. Failed."

Precisely because he's so well-rounded, his ambush failing didn't rattle him. Face-to-face with Yorin's team, Kakuzu was calm—just mildly disappointed.

"Bounty hunter—eyeing my head?" Mei spat, glaring.

"Yes. Your head's worth a lot," Kakuzu said flatly, like listing groceries. "Kiri will pay ten million ryō for it. You must have done something that made them very angry."

"Damn you—"

Mei lunged, but Yorin stopped her.

Future aside, right now she was at best elite jōnin—no match for Kakuzu. If he let her go, she might end up a head in a bag on the bounty counter.

"Uchiha Yorin. Your head isn't worth much."

Seeing Yorin step in front of Mei, Kakuzu adjusted his gaze and met his eyes. "I don't really want to cross Konoha. Walk away now and we can pretend this didn't happen. I'll let you go—if…"

Yorin actually laughed.

Lightning Armor.

Chidori Blade.

Fire Chakra Blade.

Chidori Kunai Merit Wheel.

Everything at max—Uchiha Yorin turned monstrous and leveled a sword at Kakuzu:

"Come on then, Kakuzu. I'll give you one chance to rephrase."
