"Wh–what the hell?"
"Am I seeing things?"
"Mr. Kai… is he planning to fight a Sea King barehanded?"
"With nothing but the strength of his body—taking on a Sea King head-on?"
"Good god! He's insane!"
"Completely nuts!"
"Now this—this is what it means to be both skilled and fearless."
"..."
Hundreds of Marine s aboard the warship stared, dumbfounded, at Kai's every move.
They were utterly stupefied.
The sight of four-year-old Kai preparing to engage a Sea King in hand-to-hand combat had terrified them all out of their wits.
"Vice Admiral Garp… is this really going to be okay?"
Bogard's face was filled with worry as he asked Garp.
"Relax. That brat's strength is far beyond what either of us can imagine."
"He wouldn't do something he wasn't sure of."
"Besides, even if things go south, with his power he won't get one-shotted by the Sea King. As long as he isn't instantly killed, this old man can pull him out."
Garp waved his hand dismissively, his eyes gleaming with anticipation as he looked toward Kai.
Deep beneath the waves, Kai could feel it clearly—
his body felt… sluggish.
The ocean current's pressure made his movements slightly restricted. The effect wasn't great, but it was enough to make him uncomfortable.
"The water pressure here… it's slowing me down quite a bit."
"Looks like I'll need to adapt quickly."
It was his first time fighting a Sea King underwater—there was still much he needed to get used to.
But he no longer had time.
Because…
One kilometer ahead, a Sea King shaped like a massive horse was charging straight toward him and the warship behind him—its advance like an unstoppable tidal wave.
The beast tore through the ocean at terrifying speed, parting the sea in its wake. The surface split open, leaving behind a jagged, sinister scar as towering waves erupted into the air.
Sprays of seawater scattered in all directions as violent ripples spread outward, reaching the area where Kai waited.
He swam forward several dozen meters, choosing an open expanse of ocean as the battleground. He had to keep the coming clash far enough from the warship to prevent the shockwaves from causing irreparable damage.
"Here it comes…"
Kai's eyes narrowed, his excitement barely contained as he stared at the colossal shadow beneath the waves.
Then—
He struck first.
Without a hint of hesitation, he launched himself forward.
Splash!
With a surge of power, Kai shot through the water like a torpedo, sending waves roiling in his wake.
Boom!
A light push from his feet crushed the water beneath him as if smashing through an invisible wall of pressure.
A deafening explosion echoed underwater.
In the blink of an eye, Kai's body became a blurred arrow, slicing through the sea toward the oncoming Sea King—without an ounce of fear.
Wherever he passed, the ocean boiled violently. Water exploded upward, scattering into the air and forming the faint outline of a rainbow in the mist.
The sea itself tried to restrain him—pushing back with its weight and pressure—but his speed did not falter.
Closer!
The distance between him and the Sea King shrank rapidly:
One kilometer… three hundred meters… two hundred… one hundred…
At this range, Kai could feel the beast's killing intent—the overwhelming vitality and oppressive life force radiating from it.
And under the gaze of Garp and the hundreds of Marine s watching from the ship—
Kai collided head-on with the charging Sea King.
"Tekkai – Steel Fist!"
With a fierce shout, Kai focused his inner power, channeling it through his arm and concentrating it into his fist.
All that strength gathered at a single point—
—and he punched.
BOOM!
The moment his fist connected, the restrained power within him erupted like a long-dormant volcano.
Even the water around his arm twisted and distorted from the shock, creating the illusion that space itself might shatter.
Whoosh!
A sonic boom ripped through the ocean—sharp and piercing—as his fist cleaved through the water with impossible speed.
The force compressed the water around him, generating violent shockwaves that sent waves rippling in every direction.
And then—his punch struck the Sea King's head dead-on.
BOOOOOOM!
The explosion shook the depths. Power surged forth from Kai's fist like a tidal avalanche.
The destructive energy tore through the Sea King's body—unstoppable and absolute.
The creature's scales were thick and diamond-hard, covering its body like armor. Up close, its enormous presence was suffocating—like staring up at a living mountain radiating killing intent.
Kai's punch landed squarely on its skull—
and cracked its scales.
Crack! Crack!
The supposedly indestructible armor shattered under his small fist, caving in slightly where the blow landed.
The dent wasn't deep—but it was enough to show that his attack had truly hurt the giant.
The resulting shockwave erupted outward, churning the sea and sending waves towering into the sky.
The warship, over a hundred meters away, rocked violently from the force of the impact.
That single punch—had stopped the Sea King cold.
A creature that could have smashed a warship to splinters with its momentum—
was halted by a child's bare fist.
The Marine s stared, eyes wide.
"So strong!"
"He actually stopped a Sea King's charge—barehanded!"
"One punch! Just one punch!"
"Unreal! Absolutely brutal!"
"Do you know what that means? If that thing had rammed our ship, we'd all be dead!"
"But Mr. Kai—he just stopped it with his fist!"
"What kind of strength is that…? I can't even imagine!"
The deck was filled with gasps of disbelief.
Garp and Bogard said nothing—their eyes locked on the distant battleground.
"Hahaha!"
"Magnificent!"
"Absolutely magnificent!"
Kai roared with laughter, thrilled by the recoil reverberating up his arm. His joyous laughter echoed through the sea.
ROOOOAR!
The Sea King bellowed in pain, its cry shaking the ocean.
Its bloodshot eyes glared at Kai, the small human who had dared wound it.
Driven by rage, it thrashed wildly, sending shockwaves through the water and battering Kai with powerful currents.
Then—it opened its massive jaws, lined with countless fangs, and lunged straight for him.
"Good! Come!"
Instead of retreating, Kai laughed louder, charging forward again at blinding speed.
He raised his arm—
—and punched straight into the monster's fanged maw.
BOOM!
The thunderous impact tore through the ocean.
A burst of raw power exploded from his fist—
and the Sea King's enormous fangs shattered into pieces!
Water erupted into violent waves once more.
This was no elegant duel—
It was a primal battle of flesh and bone.
A brutal, savage brawl—
no weapons, no techniques, no mercy.
Just raw strength.
And with that fragile, human body—
Kai was taking on the might of a Sea King head-on.
