Chapter 5 Konoha F4

"Wow, Qianye-kun, you're amazing!" Uchiha Izumi was stunned to see Fujiwara Chiye learn the Three Body Technique on his very first day, and she couldn't help but praise him repeatedly.

"Shhh." Fujiwara Chiye quickly covered Uchiha Izumi's small mouth and made a shushing gesture. "Please keep it a secret for me. I don't want others to know."

With her mouth covered, Izumi's pretty face turned red, and she nodded, "I can, but why don't you want others to know, Qianye-kun? With Qianye-kun's handsomeness, you should become as popular as Itachi-kun." She said the last part in her heart.

"Because if too many people pay attention, I won't be able to come here for free meals anymore," Fujiwara Chiye casually made up an excuse.

He couldn't tell her that he didn't want to enter the Konoha F4's line of sight before he had enough power to protect himself.

"Oh, I see..." The speaker had no intention, but the listener took it to heart. Hearing this, Uchiha Izumi's face grew even redder, and even her neck was tinged with pink. She continued, "My family does have a lot of Ninjutsu stored, but most of them are forbidden from being taught outside the clan. If I give them to you, I'm afraid my clansmen will come looking for trouble."

Speaking of this, she hesitated for a moment, "How about this? I'll give you the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, Shadow Clone Technique, and Body Flicker Technique first. These are all relatively common Ninjutsu in Konoha. Even if my clansmen see them later, they won't say much."

"I'm deeply grateful." Fujiwara Chiye excitedly held Uchiha Izumi's hand. These were arguably the Ninjutsu he needed most at this moment.

Especially the Shadow Clone, which allows the user to create physical clones using Chakra, possessing independent consciousness from the caster's main body and a certain degree of resistance to attacks. After dispelling, the clone's memories and experiences return to the main body.

It was practically a cheat code.

The Body Flicker Technique was also similar. If combined with the high-level flash skill refined from the Tiangang skill, it could potentially make him the second-best Taijutsu user in the Ninja World. As for the first, that would be the future Might Guy. With the power of the Eight Inner Gates, in terms of Taijutsu alone, no one could truly stand against him.

In the peaceful era, the Ninja School, while training qualified Genin, also taught some essential life skills.

In the morning, the teacher, to pique the students' interest in learning, only briefly explained how to refine Chakra and demonstrated the Three Body Technique.

The afternoon was for formal lessons.

Although there were many noble children in the class, such as those from the Uchiha Clan, the first lesson at the Ninja School still began with teaching how to refine Chakra.

As evening approached, the day's lessons ended.

The next day, Fujiwara Chiye received the Great Fireball Technique, Shadow Clone, and Body Flicker Technique from Uchiha Izumi. After looking at the curriculum for the first year, he found that most of it involved stealth, trap making, and common Ninja knowledge, with no practical combat.

He could completely use a Shadow Clone to handle it.

So, after learning the Shadow Clone on that very night, he rarely went to school again.

His main body, meanwhile, found a secluded grove and began his cultivation journey.

Similarly, Uchiha Itachi also didn't go to the Ninja School.

From the second day onwards, that guy started attending classes using a Shadow Clone.

Although Qianye didn't particularly like Itachi's personality,

he had to admit that Uchiha Itachi was indeed a true genius.

He could learn almost anything instantly, even surpassing his teachers. If Fujiwara Chiye hadn't read the original work, he might have thought Itachi was also a transmigrator.

The kind with a Dragon-Blooded Conqueror opening.

One year later.

Konoha Hokage Building.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzo Shimura, Homura Mitokado, and Utatane Koharu—all of Konoha F4—were present, seated at the leadership table.

Below them was the Chunin teacher responsible for teaching Fujiwara Chiye and Uchiha Itachi's class.

Just like in the original work, Uchiha Itachi, due to an unintentional conflict with an older student, exposed his Shadow Clone, solidifying his reputation as a genius.

At the end of the school year, the day before the sixth-grade graduation, he was reported by his Chunin instructor to the Konoha F4, who recommended his early graduation.

Fujiwara Chiye, having thoroughly read the original plot, learned about this through his Shadow Clone. To avoid entering the Konoha F4's field of vision, he uncharacteristically used his main body to attend school during that period.

"A genius?" Danzo spoke, his expression calm. His right eye was covered by bandages, revealing nothing, but his left eye showed extremely peculiar emotional fluctuations: wariness, cunning, and a faint hint of killing intent.

Overall, he appeared very gloomy, constantly exuding an aura of conspiracy.

As the most staunch supporter of the belief that the Uchiha are an inherently evil clan, he detested the Uchiha more than anyone, yet at the same time, he envied them more than anyone.

He envied the Uchiha's unique bloodline—the Sharingan.

"Yes, Danzo-sama, not only did he master the Clone Jutsu in last year's graduation exam, but he also learned the Shadow Clone, and he's excellent in all other aspects as well. There's no point in keeping him in the Ninja School any longer," the Chunin teacher respectfully replied.

He stood ramrod straight, his throat bobbing as he swallowed hard, not daring to meet Danzo's gaze. It was clear that this leader of Root, known as the Darkness of the Ninja World, had reached a point where his fellow villagers feared him like a tiger.

This was also why Danzo was destined never to become Hokage, though he himself seemed utterly unaware of it.

"But he's only a first-year, isn't he?" Hiruzen Sarutobi was a conventional person. With the current peaceful era, he didn't want Uchiha Itachi to graduate so quickly.

"Yes," the Chunin teacher, sensing the Third Hokage's displeasure, weakly responded.

At this moment, Danzo, who always liked to contradict the Third Hokage, retorted, "Isn't that good? It's not like there's no precedent."

"But the times are different now; that was wartime," the Third Hokage tried to say more, but Danzo immediately cut him off with a single sentence.

Danzo said to the Chunin teacher, "He's a genius, isn't he?"

"I've never seen a student like him," the Chunin teacher gave a definitive answer.

"Letting Itachi graduate is for his own good!" Hearing this, the Third Hokage lowered his head slightly, his eyes obscured by his conical hat, and repeated the phrase, no longer objecting.

Next, the Chunin teacher routinely reported on other more outstanding students, most of whom were from prestigious families.

During this, the Third Hokage remained silent until Fujiwara Chiye, a commoner, was mentioned. He finally looked up, "Is he the Fujiwara family's child?"

The Chunin teacher said, "Yes, Hokage-sama, among the first-years, besides Itachi, Fujiwara, the orphan of the Special Jonin, has the best talent in the class. Although he's far from Uchiha Itachi, he's excellent in various aspects, and with proper training, he has a bright future."

"I see. It seems Fujiwara had a good child!" The Third Hokage repeated thoughtfully, no one knowing what he was thinking. Danzo and the others, meanwhile, had their full attention on Uchiha Itachi from the beginning, and they somewhat scoffed at a so-called civilian genius like Fujiwara Chiye.

Of course, these were all things Fujiwara Chiye wanted to see happen.
