Raiden winced and frowned as I pulled my body away to give him more room to breathe. My body stiffened as I got scared that he had broken something while protecting me.
"Are you hurt somewhere?" I asked, leaning in to see if there were any visible wounds or injuries.
"Ugh," he grunted in an attempt to move his arm. "I think I might have dislocated my shoulder."
"I can fix that," I suddenly heard myself speaking, and once my mind caught up with my tongue, I had an irresistible urge to swallow those words back.
"You can?" Raiden arched a curious brow at me. "I had no idea you were that talented."
I did not care much for his sarcasm, but I understood where he was coming from – he was used to the girls who had everything done for them, so meeting one who knew how those things were actually done must have been refreshing. Or mindblowing.
