"You wanted to see me, Mother?"
It was still too early in the morning to put on my usual chilly act toward Angela, even though I knew that the reason she had summoned me today was entirely unpleasant.
And I couldn't be more right.
"Since you are joining this year's Lunar Gala rather abruptly," the woman started, her face twisted into a bitter expression. She was clearly unhappy about having to start her morning by meeting with me.
"You need to get familiar with some important rules. The Lunar Gala is all about finding a mate or a potential mating candidate. However, since you haven't shifted yet, this debutante ball is more like an introduction for you."
