Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

Awakening

I stared blankly at the computer screen, my mind numb from hours of staring at code. Another failed project, another dead end. My life as a programmer was a never-ending cycle of disappointment. The fluorescent lights above flickered, casting an eerie glow on the drab office walls. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of monotony.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed on the desk. A notification from an unknown number. I hesitated, wondering if I should answer. The message was simple: "Download the attachment."

My curiosity piqued, I downloaded the file. A strange icon appeared on my screen, pulsing with a red glow. The words "Demonic System" flashed, followed by a prompt: "Initialize?"

I hesitated, unsure what to do. Something about this felt off. But my curiosity won out. I clicked "yes."

The screen went black.

When it flickered back to life, I was staring at a terminal window. Code streamed by at incredible speed, like a digital waterfall. I had no idea what was happening.

Then, a message appeared: "Demonic System Online. User, welcome to the world of demons."

I rubbed my eyes, wondering if this was some kind of prank. But when I opened them again, the screen had changed. A dashboard displayed, filled with strange symbols and charts.

A notification popped up: "You have been bound to the Demonic System. Your journey begins now."

I felt a shiver run down my spine. What had I just gotten myself into?

The screen flickered again, and a figure appeared. A demon, with horns and wings, stared back at me. "Greetings, master," it said in a voice that sent shivers down my spine. "I am your guide. Together, we will conquer the world of demons."

I stared, unsure what to say. Conquer the world of demons? This was insane. But something about the demon's words resonated deep within me. A spark of excitement ignited.

Maybe this was the break I needed. Maybe this was the start of something incredible.

"Let's do it," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

The demon smiled, its eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Then, let us begin."

The screen went black once more. When it flickered back to life, I was no longer in my office. I stood in a dark, foreboding landscape. The air was thick with the stench of brimstone.

A figure approached me. The demon from the screen. "Welcome, master," it said. "You are now in the world of demons. Your journey has begun."

I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of trepidation. What lay ahead? What challenges would I face?

But I was ready. I had nothing to lose.

"Let's get started," I said, my voice firm.

The demon smiled, its eyes glinting with excitement. "Then, let us venture into this world master.

And with that, my journey began.

The demon led me through the dark landscape, the air thick with the stench of brimstone. We walked for what felt like hours, the only sound the crunch of gravel beneath our feet.

As we walked, the demon explained the rules of the Demonic System. I had been bound to a powerful demon lord, and my goal was to help him conquer the world of demons. The system would guide me, providing quests, missions, and battles to fight.

But there was a catch. The system was unpredictable, and the consequences of failure were dire. If I failed to complete a quest, the demon lord's power would wane, and I would be punished.

I listened intently, my mind racing with questions. What kind of power did the demon lord possess? What were the stakes? And what did the demon mean by "punished"?

The demon seemed to sense my unease. "Do not worry, user," it said. "The system will guide you. You will learn as you go."

We reached a massive stone door, adorned with intricate carvings of demons and otherworldly creatures. The demon pushed the door open, revealing a vast chamber filled with rows of stone pedestals.

Each pedestal held a glowing crystal, pulsing with dark energy. The demon explained that these were the Heart Crystals, the source of the demon lord's power.

"Your first quest is to collect three Heart Crystals," the demon said. "The crystals are guarded by powerful demons. You will need to defeat them to claim the crystals."

I nodded, my heart racing with excitement and fear. This was it. This was my chance to prove myself.

The demon handed me a strange device that looked like a cross between a sword and a gun. "This is your Demonic Tool," it said. "It will help you defeat the demons and collect the Heart Crystals."

I took the device, feeling a surge of energy run through me. This was real. This was happening.

"Let's do this," I said, my voice firm.

The demon smiled, its eyes gleaming with approval. "Then, let us begin. Your first battle awaits."

The demon led me to the first pedestal, where a massive demon waited. Its eyes glowed red, and its skin was like black stone.

"Defeat the demon and claim the Heart Crystal," the demon said. "The system will guide you."

I steeled myself, gripping the Demonic Tool tightly. This was it. My first battle.

I charged forward, the Demonic Tool glowing with energy. The demon roared, its eyes flashing with anger.

The battle had begun.
