"Shit!" The word tumbled out of Lilian's mouth after a moment of being completely blank.
Then she scrambled to her feet so fast she nearly tripped over her own heels.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean...it was an accident. I'm so sorry, Morgana, I..." she gasped, more words tumbling out in a panic.
Her face was burning with embarrassment, while her heart was racing.
"What just happened?"
She had assumed Morgana wasn't into women. Everything about her had seemed so... polished, so traditionally feminine. Lilian had never even considered it at all.
However, Morgana surprised the flustered woman when she chuckled softly, her eyes glittering with amusement.
"Rose, it's okay. Really." she said in a warm but low voice.
And before Lilian could respond, before she could step back or apologize again,
Morgana reached up, grabbed Lilian's wrist, and pulled her back down.
Lilian fell forward with a surprised yelp, landing on top of Morgana, who was still on the floor.
