Summary: The tired doctor who has insomnia because he is haunted and can hear everyone's thought but one day all of sudden became quiet when a new patient came in.

"Doctor, you're clocking out tonight right? Wanna come and drink with us?"
One of the female nurse flirt and asks him out but he coldly replies.
"I'm not, I'm working overtime" he then walks away from him and heard the nurse's thought.
( Damn it, maybe next time, I won't give up on him) The nurse thought and walked away while thinking of dirty things, making him flinch and waited for her to leave before sighing in relief.
Ever since Collin Raye was young, he carried the genetic of mind reading from his family generation of men that was both a blessing and a curse.
A blessing because this can be used when a person is lying or not.
A curse because there is non stop and he can hear it meters away from him even though he doesn't want to, causing insomnia.
He lands a job after college in the mental hospital his family and decided to work there. But that didn't solve his insomnia problem.
It was everyday torture.
But he had no choice because any job he takes, nothing can cure his insomnia and wishes it just to be gone.
That was granted when a new patient came and assigned to his care.

"Why my unit?! I'm already handling 3 unstable patients and you want me to handle another one?!" He angrily slammed the new folder handed to him while the manager flinches and tries to calm him down.
"Look I know it's been hard, especially almost getting beat up but this case is different and requires no physical handling, only communication."
The manager then opens the folder and handed it to him, showing the info of the new patient.

Condition maladaptive daydreaming
He read through the pages of events and her condition, maladaptive daydreaming, it is a condition of endless daydreaming and can harm one person's health and mentality.
He then looks at Yu's picture, dazed eyes like she is staring to a wall and he became curious, he decided to accept it.
"If this woman cause trouble, I'm passing to another doctor to handle it"
"Rest assured, she is well behaved but not that talkative" the manager assures but he read his mind.
(That girl can't even talk and focus on a conversation, she's a pain in the neck)
Collin frowned and didn't shook hands, ignoring it and went off to the new patient.
"Let's get this over with"
As he walked to her room and opened the door, his mind went quiet instantly as he looked at yu.
The girl sitting beside the open window as she was in a daze and looking up the sky, daydreaming.
Collin's mind was light as a cloud, no voices. He looks at yu and his mind was full of peace and her daydreaming.
Where she was jumping and hopping one cloud to another like the clouds outside. Her imagination escaping reality.
Collin close the door behind him and slowly approached her. Grabbing another chair and sitting infront of her. He was still in disbelief.
His mind was never this light and calming. He then calls out her name with a soft voice.
"Yu L/n..."
Yu turned to him and she stared back with doe eyes.
"Oh sorry, I didn't noticed..."
She tells and her mind slowly drifting to cloud world. The two stare long, he can't stop, he liked the feeling.
He loved it and didn't want this feeling to disappear.
"No worries, I'm sorry for startling you out of your daydreaming"
"I'm fine it's just...."
She suddenly dazed out and back to daydreaming once she looked back again to the clouds, imaging again that she was hopping one cloud to another and eating them like cotton candy.
Collin didn't interrupt her again and continue to read her mind like television, in perspective, she was stating at her. Until he fell asleep
Hours passed and she continues to stare at the clouds, immersed in her daydreaming.
Meanwhile, in first time of his life, he fell asleep. He fell asleep peacefully by her shoulder and yu didn't mind, to focused on daydreaming.

"Beep Beep Beep"
They both wake from their dreaming and looked at the clock, it was already time for dinner for the patients.
Collin wiped his saliva and felt satisfied of his sleep. It was the first time he slept peacefully with no voices messing with his head.
He then looked at her, her gaze back to daydreaming look. Imagining another scenario where she was riding horses with flying ducks and chickens.
Making him laugh at this weird scenario. That also made yu look at Collin.
"Is something funny?"
"No no, my apologies" he wiped the tears, when was the last time he laughed genuinely like this?
Collin looked at her again and decided then and there.
"I'm doctor Collin, your doctor from now on, I hope we get along well miss yu, at all times"
He smiled and shook her hand, she just nodded.
"I'm sorry in advance, for being like this. This has been a problem for a long time and they got tired of covering expenses"
Yu started talking, and he just reassured her.
"Please do not worry, you are not a bother at all, and I'll make sure to give you the best care, so stay and let me take care of you, understand?"
He smiled but his eyes filled with something that will overcome him of addiction.
Addiction of Yu and your weird but peaceful daydreaming imaginations and delusions.
