Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 the birth of infinity

The still-young world was quiet. Stars twinkled faintly above, their light scattered across a canvas that had only recently been painted by the Creator God, Veldanava. The winds were still learning to blow, the oceans still learning to rage, and the mountains still learning to stand.

Amidst this primordial stillness, a new power was born.

Not with fire.

Not with ice.

Not even with divine light.

But with silence.

From a void deeper than time itself, something stirred. Reality wavered, trembling under a weight it could not comprehend, and then—he appeared.

A youth, dark-haired and calm-eyed, with an aura so infinite that even the stars seemed to bow. When he breathed, it felt as if eternity exhaled. When he blinked, entire possibilities flickered in and out of existence.

The world whispered his name without knowing it:

Arcanis, the True Dragon of Infinity.

---

Velzard was the first to sense him.

The White Ice Dragon had been born not long before, her beauty as radiant as the first snow upon a virgin world. But when she gazed upon her brother, a rare unease prickled in her chest.

"What is this presence…?" she thought, her frost-colored eyes narrowing. Her aura, normally absolute and sovereign, felt… small. Not crushed, but dwarfed by the sheer scale of what stood before her.

He did not move threateningly, nor did he radiate hostility. In fact, he stood still, watching her with calm, abyss-like eyes. It was that serenity that unsettled her more than any ferocity could.

"Another sibling," came a voice from behind her.

She turned—and there he was. The Creator. The Origin. Their elder brother.

Veldanava descended gracefully, his divine presence filling the world like sunlight. Where Arcanis's existence was endless and unfathomable, Veldanava's was radiant, reassuring, and absolute.

Velzard dipped her head slightly. "So this is…?"

Veldanava's lips curved in a knowing smile. "Yes. The one who follows you—Arcanis. The True Dragon of Infinity."

---

Arcanis tilted his head slightly, his voice low, yet echoing like a thousand whispers layered together.

"…Brother. Sister."

The words were simple, but the weight of them pressed against Velzard's heart. His tone was not warm, nor cold. It was as if infinity itself had spoken—an existence so complete that it needed nothing.

Velzard frowned slightly, folding her arms. "Hmph. You feel strange. Not strong like me, nor warm like Brother. Just… endless. What are you, really?"

Arcanis blinked, considering her question. Finally, he answered:

"…I am."

That was all.

Velzard bristled. "Tch. Cryptic already."

But Veldanava laughed softly. "That is his nature, Velzard. You embody winter's eternity. But he… he embodies infinity itself. He neither begins nor ends. He simply exists."

---

The silence stretched.

Velzard crossed her arms tighter, ice mist swirling faintly from her lips. "So… he's my little brother too, huh?"

Veldanava nodded.

"Hmph." Her expression softened, just a little. "Then I'll protect him. Even if he's weird."

Arcanis watched her quietly, a faint flicker in his abyssal eyes. It could almost be mistaken for warmth.

---

Later, when the three stood together overlooking the newborn seas, Veldanava placed his hand on Arcanis's shoulder.

"You are different from the rest of us," he said gently. "Even I, who created this world, have limits. But you… your essence has none."

Arcanis tilted his head. "Then… what am I meant to do?"

Veldanava's smile grew wistful. "That is for you to decide, Arcanis. Perhaps you will surpass me one day."

Velzard scoffed at that, frost swirling around her. "Surpass you? Don't joke."

But Veldanava only chuckled. "The path of infinity is not strength or weakness, sister. It is choice."

Arcanis lowered his gaze to the endless ocean below. For the first time, something stirred within him—a faint tug. A glimpse of futures yet unwritten.

And in those glimpses… he saw her.

A silver-haired girl, masked, standing against destiny.

The image vanished in an instant, like a dream. But it left a warmth in his eternal heart.

"…One day," he whispered softly, though neither Veldanava nor Velzard understood the meaning.

For the True Dragon of Infinity had already seen the threads of fate.

Already felt the pull of love that would span countless timelines.
