In the next moment, he raised a finger, fully activating the talisman dormant within her body.
Gu Yue Na had just gathered energy to strike back at this human who toyed with her. She never expected that with just a flick of a finger, complex, twisting azure patterns would appear across her smooth, pale skin.
As the blue patterns appeared, her entire soul trembled, as if a force capable of moving mountains and filling seas were yanking it outward.
"What have you done to me?!"Gu Yue Na frantically used her soul's power to resist the pull. Her violet eyes, usually full of rage, now flickered with panic.
"Nothing much, just intending to cripple this clone of yours."
Luo Yu spoke calmly, a tattered cyan ancient banner suddenly appearing behind him with a swish.
Under the starlit sky, a cyan-black banner fluttered in the wind, glowing with deep radiance and covered in exotic beast patterns. Faint roars of a beast lord seemed to emanate from within.
"Collect!"
The expression beneath Luo Yu's black robe was solemn. He pressed his index and middle fingers together, guiding energy across the void. The azure patterns on Gu Yue Na's snow-white skin erupted with blinding brilliance.
For the first time, Gu Yue Na's proud, indifferent face showed fear. Her consciousness was being irresistibly drawn—she could barely hold on.
"Human, do you know who I am?!" her threatening tone rang out.
"No matter who you are, anyone who harms my people must pay the price."Luo Yu replied calmly.
"I will still—" a shocked, angry female voice tried to resist.
"BOOM!"
The world trembled. All sound related to Gu Yue Na abruptly stopped. The azure talisman yanked her soul, shooting toward the cyan banner.
"Roar!" A dragon's cry echoed in the blue light, but it was powerless and faded.
The tattered Huang Yao Banner seemed to sense a feast. A deafening beast roar erupted as a massive blood-red maw appeared on the banner, eager to devour the soul captured by the talisman.
"This one's not for you. I have bigger plans."
Luo Yu murmured, his black eyes flashing. Light cascaded across the banner, the beast's mouth disappeared, and the talisman dragged Gu Yue Na's soul into the Huang Yao Banner. Simultaneously, his three spirit treasures vanished from the outside world, returning to his body.
His face was pale. Repeatedly deploying ultimate techniques and the three treasures had taken a heavy toll. His body swayed slightly, his aura unstable, and even the black dragon beneath him wavered.
Below, Su Yaoyun dragged the unconscious Three-Eyed Golden Ni, her red lips parted in astonishment. She had never imagined such a formidable being could be so effortlessly subdued by Luo Yu's master.

Otherwise, had it been her true form, even badly wounded, he would not have acted recklessly. He would have fled with Su Yaoyun without looking back.
But with a clone? That was different. Without a corporeal vessel, a soul entity was vulnerable. Luo Yu was confident that seizing the opportunity would grant him leverage against even the strongest foe.

Holding the nine-colored scale, feeling its immense contained power, Luo Yu realized this was no ordinary object. Even a fragment of the soul could unleash such strength.
