On Yu Xi's other side, Jian Ci leaned closer, his tone playful but edged with something deeper. "Now you are making me jealous. I thought I was the most beautiful in the universe."
Yu Xi tilted his head, feigning confusion. "Who said that?"
Jian Ci, emboldened, shifted his weight and leaned fully against Yu Xi, his body pressing close. His voice dropped, intimate, almost accusing, "You did. You said, Gege, you are the most beautiful in the universe."
Xiaobao burst out laughing, clutching her cushion like a weapon. "You are just making shit up!" she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
